Its a Subway so the menu is the same as all the other ones, except its all halal. The shop has only a few seats and is quite small. Its okay, but you have a better choice of places on Brick Lane.
This was hands down the worst experience I’ve ever had at any Subway. From the moment I started ordering, the staff member was extremely rude and unprofessional. Her (lady in hijab) tone was sharp, dismissive, and made me feel like I was an inconvenience for simply ordering food. When I asked for sauce, I was snapped at with “we don’t have that sauce” in a very hostile way. When I asked for additional vegetables, I was abruptly told they couldn’t add more, with zero politeness or explanation. No customer service, no courtesy, no basic respect. Instead of feeling welcomed, I felt like I was being told off the entire time. Ordering a sandwich should not feel uncomfortable or stressful, but that’s exactly how this felt. There was no effort to be helpful, no apology, and no attempt to make the experience better. Subway is supposed to be about customization and friendly service—this location completely failed on both. I left frustrated and disappointed, and I will definitely not be returning. Management seriously needs to address the attitude and customer service at this store.
