The Market, Fresh Halal meat, vegetables, a lot of different spice, sweet specialties, fresh Lebanese bread, plus a lot of other small things, is about 80 sq meters. The restaurant is beside the Market, and servers halal food, about 16 places to eat, style of place is take away... Great Service and very nice people...

Visited Zurich in November 2010 during Eid ul Adha, went to this place during Maghrib and saw a handful of men after prayers and had the first ever halal meal in Zurich. Unfortunately, other restaurants listed here are not 100% halal, except for this one. My kids, 6 & 4 yr old loved the food and there was a separate prayer room for ladies, since there were no ladies around, my husband joined us in the room to have our meal together. A bit costly, but I don't mind paying for something that I know for sure is halal. Highly recommended. Walking distance from the main station, most ppl we ask are clueless about the place, we were fortunate as we saw a man in a muslim cap n asked him for direction. Building no.21 It says 'Islam toplumu kulliye' if you walk from the main station, head towards 'excursions' this is actually an area of coach buses where u will take for city or any tours around zurich. From there, look for starbucks, walk ahead a few metres, the big car park should be on your right, turn right at the junction, you will see a couple of buildings there.. head to no.21.. opposite this building is a brightly coloured shop/ museum (not too sure) called Galerie.

The super market has a Halal Turkish restaurant as well adjacent to it. I visited the restaurant on August 05, 2008 aftrenoon (after being disappointed by another restuarant in Zurich, thought to be Halal). The food at this turkish restaurant was good and the staff was curtious. Prices are a bit higher but that is what one can expect in Switzerland particulary in Zurich. I confirmed from the staff about Halal food moreover the Halal sign was displayed on board and on the uniform of staff also.
