very nice.been there.. there are open air area restaurant. the governement gazetted the area for tourism. well known among malaysian. food are cheap. and nice. locally catch and cook as we wished. the best part here they venture into this before the birth of jamie oliver and gordon ramsey career ..hahaha not pretentious and original with idea. halal definitely. coz they are all villagers mainly predominantly muslim. not pricey and nice. gordon ramsey eat yr feet. they cook without swearing haha yet still nice. the place was there as old as i can remember. from i was small. the place is nearby river bank jetty. well known among malaysian. it is at kampung serkam pantai.
