This place claims to serve halal food yet they have a fully stocked bar and a huge miller light sign ( or is it budweiser?) hanging in their front display window. I don't how someone can deal with and serve one of the most hated things in Islam and be concerned with serving halal meat to their patrons. Just doesn't make sense.

Its a small World. Visiting from California, this was a random pick for me and wife. Unsure about how food would taste, we got in there and unexpected of unexpected happened. The Father (chef) of the owner of the restaurant was standing at the counter, who came 10 days ago from California. Interestingly enough, I have been customer of his father's restaurant in California for past six years. :) Seeing him made me sure that food will be great! and no doubt it was. We tried Chicken Kabab, beef Kabab, and baklawas. Location is close to ASU and on Mill ave, so do expect party University atmosphere on the street.

The portions here are beyond huge, definitely a place to split (esp if you are a girl!). The atmosphere is very casual, as you carry your meal to your table on trays and eat off plastic. On a negative note, this is the only halal restaurant I havent felt comfortable in as a hijabi. For me the food isnt good enough to make up for that.

Tasty Kabob, A must check for all living in Phoenix Their website has the menu etc. It'd be better had they served their food in non-plastic dishes.

Ordered the samosas and a sampler plate. The flavor and quality of the food is almost unbelievable. I've been to and lived in the Mediterranean and middle East, I'm not exaggerating when I say this is the best food I've ever had. If you haven't tried it you are missing out. Go. Now.

Really good food, great prices and I love the workers there. I met one of the staff named Saeed and he really made sure I was happy and got great food each time I came. I got the grilled chicken plate 3 nights in a row! Great homemade hummus too

Definitely recommend the masala fries. For a later evening meal, absolutely the most delicious combination I’ve had for a mix of different cultural foods. The spices used were excellent and we were happy to support a local establishment.

Was in Phoenix for a few days and wanted to try a halal meat restaurant, so I went to Med Fresh. Their food is delicious and it can be very busy there, so expect to wait over 20 minutes for your order to be ready. Try their baklava (dessert), it is so delicious!

Med Fresh Grill offers a delightful Mediterranean dining experience. I have been here several times and the service here is consistently warm and attentive. The ambience gives a casual vibe. The interior is clean and decorated with Moroccan chandelier lighting , featuring a mix of traditional and contemporary design elements that create a welcoming atmosphere. When it comes to the food, my favourites are hummus and pita bread for a fantastic start, while the grilled kebabs and shawarma are standout dishes. This time I tried their grilled fish, it tasted very good with Mediterranean masala and I always finish the meal with their baklava for dessert.

After the owner changed, the taste quality decreased. The taste of the meat I ate was questionable. In addition, it was very expensive for the portion.

Waste of money!! I had a disappointing experience at this place. As a Turk, I know how kebab tastes and I was confused about what I ate (could not eat after one bite); the kebab didn’t taste like a real kebab at all. I questioned the quality of the meat. The owners do not have any cultural understanding of Turkish cuisine. The tables were dirty! They charged a minimum of $25 per person but served food on plastic plates. I also found it strange that tipping was expected before the service. I wouldn’t tip under those circumstances, as it didn’t feel like they understood hospitality or how to welcome customers. This was a poor representation of Turkish cuisine and culture, and it left me very upset.

I thought this restaurant served Turkish food when I googled it and saw its menu. Unfortunately, it turned out this place doesn’t serve Turkish food such as iskender, beyti kebab, pide, or lahmacun. Looks like the owner has changed and it has more Indian foods. I ordered an adana kebab plate. Unfortunately, the meat was not good. As a Turk, I know how adana kebab tastes so if you are looking for an authentic Turkish restaurant with Turkish food, don’t come here otherwise you’ll be disappointed. In terms of price it’s overpriced as well.
