The food is tasty. Almost the original taste. Be aware of the belly dancing, so you may consider if you want to go out with family and kids, the volume of the music during belly dancing is so loud, however i think there are times for the belly dancing, if u want to avoid it you should go early. Hookah is available.
I went to this restaurant in Oct 2009 with a client. It was a good experience and the best part was the exotic presentation of the mix grill. They serve alcohol as well. Their belly dancing could get a bit vulgar and this restaurant is not recommend for conservative families or those eating out with kids during the belly dancing timings. Their prices are on the higher side but their decor, food quality and service gives you every penny back in value. They claim that the food is halal but what boggles me the most is that when a restaurant is serving alcohol and having vulgar belly dances then why do they care for halal food. Anyways, overall it was a good experience and it was a big relief to find a halal restaurant near my hotel.
Had dinner here in Jan of 08. Had eaten seafood for over a week before venturing on this establishment. Very good food. Middle eastern style. They server alcohol here and as posted, they do have belly-dancing. Was very happy to eat some meat after a long time. I know it's frowned upon to mention competitors, but doing so due to the rarity a traveller will stumble upon the other place on his own and will miss a chance to eat more halal food: two buildings up the road is a another great persian place with halal food.
Salaams. After suffering for two weeks without any meat, we finally discovered this place and it was the best food we ate overall in China. Really fresh and appetising, with a massive menu of meat, meat and more meat. Really good service too. The only point I'd make one aware of is the belly dancing, which we hadn't realised was a feature. It was quite racuous at this point and we felt extremely uncomfortable and took refuge outside.
