This is a very nice setting for high-quality halal food in Beijing. While most halal food in Beijing is Uyghur, this place focuses on mainstream Beijing restaurant food but done well. We were able to try Beijing's famous "Peking Duck" which was delicious - juicy on the inside with a crispy, flavorful skin on the outside. The beef dumplings were also excellent and the spicy chicken with peanuts was fantastic - far better than your average Kung Pao chicken in the US or elsewhere.
Ate here in Jan of 08 and had the Peking Duck. Very good. Don't remember what else I had but it was alot of dishes and good food. 2nd visit was in Oct of 08. Had lamb chops tasty but alot of fat (as intended?), lamb sheek kababs (well-marinated), and ribs-beef (very tender, very tasty). This is in the western part of town between the 2nd and 3rd rings. You can walk from Fuchingmeng Line2 station.
