Not a single restaurant - this is a street west of the Great Mosque that is full of both sit-down restaurants and street carts selling a variety of delicious halal foods. We tried the lamb kebabs which were amazing and we also had a spicy chicken sandwiches which were so good that we went back the next day for more - think of a really juicy chicken shwarma sandwich in Uyghur flatbread with diced vegetables and more spice than the average Middle Eastern shwarma. There were also tons of noodle dishes, soups, and hot pot restaurants. All of the restaurants/carts were clearly marked with Islamic calligraphy to designate that the food was halal.
