108 West Hancock Street, Detroit, MI
Wayne state campus, down the block from Cass Masjid (ICD-Wayne), Muslim brother has an entire seperate section for Halal meat. Seperate cutter, seperate bread, meat everything is seperate. very affordable and gives very nice servings. Down the street from DMC.
A halal certificate is clearly visible on the premises. All food at this restaurant is certified halal.
Score reflects admin-confirmed halal status; no additional evidence on file yet.
Delicious halal subs! Owner is really nice too. Definitely worth checking out. Get the breaded chicken on zesty Parmesan bread!
It's blimpie but they have a halal menu! So if you need a quick bite, check this college town area out. Very friendly guys and good subs.
Great place ... Visiting from Dallas the Muslim brother running the place is super friendly ... It was very busy with a diverse crowd .. The place was clean ... He had a new poster where he had Halal meats which was pretty much everything... I tried a chicken sandwich on jalapeño n cheddar and wife tried classic Italian .. Both sandwiches were great ...
I've eaten there twice to date. The place is clean and tidy. It's actually a nice little spot to relax and study while you eat. The food is OK, but I have to admit the meat they use lacks flavor and spice. I will only eat there now out of convenience. It's a little pricey for me, $8 for a 12 combo. But that is because I can know where to go for a great meal at that price.
Only the corned beef, beef, turkey and the turkey bacon are halal. The food is great and the staff are exceptional.
Genuinely the absolute best place to eat at in Detroit. The owner Nick and his family just make my day every time I stop by hungry. Their vibes are just amazing, I strongly recommend everyone to come give their subs a try. Everything they serve is top notch!!
