Indo Pak Grocery Halal Meat

I have been here a few times and the staff are very friendly. They usually have everything that I need as well.

This store has a very good variety of grocery items. The meat section is efficient. It isn't the cleanest but their butchers are nice and would listen to your request . I think good customer service makes a huge difference and I like their overall attitude. It's very positive. The person at the meat section told me all their chicken is hand-slaughtered and it is from "Sargent farms".

place is quite dirty and smells really bad i guess the halal part is only about meat not much attention to cleanliness :)

I specifically asked for 95% extra lean ground beef and even called ahead to confirm. When I picked it up, it didn’t look like extra lean to me, so I went back to the person who prepared it and raised my concern. I explained that it was for someone on a strict diet and that the fat percentage matters. I was reassured that it was extra lean. This photo shows the raw meat I received. It had visibly more fat than expected, and when cooked it rendered a significant amount of grease. If customers are paying for extra lean, the product should match what is being sold. Accuracy and transparency matter, specially when someone takes the time to double check in store. I’m sharing this so others can make informed decisions and so the shop can improve transparency moving forward, specially in Ramadan.
