Sheesh kebab and knafeh both decent. The service was friendly. The menu was a strange mix of Pakistani and Arab food, but I would probably come back again to try something else.

I had very bad experience with Biryani and shawarma Biryani taste completely changed or worst because Uncle leaved that place and his son takeovers. Shawarma wrap was tasteless. kitchen and bread was old.

I bought a chicken kabab wrap here a few days ago. The food taste is average and the serving is small. Service is unfriendly.

My family have lamb Biryani from al-Hamra every Friday. It's the greatest lamb Biryani we'd ever had in Los Angeles.

I would like to highly recommend this restaurant. We tried 3 dishes and they were all delicious. Their hummus is very creamy (more tahini added), which is how it should be made. The owner/manager was very accomodating, welcoming and friendly. The service was excellent. I will return whenever I am in LA.

The food was tasty, the portions were a bit small for the price, but the bathroom was dirty. That was the only big turn off.

We visited Manhattan Beach and were looking for a place close by, stopped in without reading any of the reviews and I left a very satisfied customer. The food was really good, but what stands out the most is the customer service. The owner really knows how to make you feel at home. He even threw in a plate of hummus at no extra charge. The restaurant itself is very clean and seems to be a neighborhood favorite.

This place is over rated. Only Gyros are good and rest all food is bland and below average. Really the shawarmas, kabobs etc were below average. The Gyro was however similar to the famous E56th st Halal cart in New York. Place is clean and the service is good. And they were very busy on Sunday with most of their customers being white people. I recommend Hayats kitchen in North hollywood for real lebanese shawarma treat with absolutely tantalizing garlic sauce and extremely delightful hummus.

This restaurant is great..The service is really good and the owner came by to inquire if everything is okay..The place is clean with nice ambiance. We ordered the combination platter with gyros and chicken shwarma, it was good while the grilled chicken salad was awesome..The portions are really huge thus the prices are quite reasonable. Would definitely go again soon..

This place is my favorite restaurant. I go there once a week and the food is consistently good. The service is excellent an the people make you feel at home. The prices are great for the portions and everything on the menu is really good!

This place is awesome ! The service is great and the place is very neat, clean, organized with a nice ambiance. The prices are reasonable and the food is spectacular. I had the Gyros platter and it was delicious ! I love the fact that the portions are huge (as well as the sides -- rice, bread, hummus, salad). This is a place you need to go to.

I go to this place all the time(alteast once week,lol), I've had the chicken shwarma and the gyro(gyro's are awsome! NY style).. i've been here more than 15 times and still haven't gotten sick of these 2 items.. i haven't even tried any of their other dishes yet, but i plan to insha'llah, once i feel like i've satisfied my insatiable appetite for their chicken shwarma and their gyros lol Owner is also a real good guy, Mash'allah.

This is a great restaurant with a wide variety of arabic food, from hummus to shworma, soups and rotisserie chicken. The food is great, not overcooked like some other places. I've seen this place develop and each time I've been there the service and variety continues to improve. Overall this is a great Halal restaurant with amazing food. May Allah give them barakah in their business. Will I be back? Definitely.

Ah...what can I say? I liked this place at first. Soon after they opened we tried some rice dishes (biryani, kebsa), kibbeh, and hummus. They were all tasty. Then things started looking a little fishy. The owner always said he always mixed his own spices, but one day we saw him walking in with 6 or 7 Shan brand spice boxes in his hand. Hmmm...maybe he owns the factory. The cook offered to cook kabsa, saying that she had cooked all kinds of Middle Eastern food and that she could make a party platter for us. We brought her spices and black dried limes we bought in the Gulf and paid her almost $50. At the appointed time we called ... not done yet. We waited an hour ... not done yet, come at 6:00 (at that point it was 4:00). We went at 6:00...not done yet...almost. Twenty minutes later it was packaged up and in the trunk. At home we were in for a rude awakening. It was awful. The rice was gummy and the consistency of a Cajun jambalaya. It was basically mush, certainly not the work of someone who had put effort or attention into her cooking. The only thing that was good was the chicken. We gave it to the pet. I will never go back there. I feel cheated.

WOW! What can I say? THIS WAS THE BEST HALAL DINING EXPERIENCE I HAVE HAD YET! I am very sad that this place has no reviews yet, is it new? You can check... I have visited and left reviews for almost every halal place in LA area and SF area... and I can honestly say this is the best halal place I have been to yet! It is very small with just a few tables, which gives the impression of more of a lunch place or cafe than a restauarant. But the service is incredible! I have never seen the akhlaq that the owners and their sons have in my life at any Muslim restaurant. They are the NICEST people I have come across. I also like how they have a sign in the window explaining what Ramadan is... that is GREAT for dawah. MashALlah the food was incredible. Has both Arabic and Pakistani cuisine and one of the best chicken tikka masala I have ever had! Prices are cheap and I left stuffed MASHALLAH! I really hope Allah blesses them with so much baraka in their business. I WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK INSHALLAH!
