Went here twice in the past, got food poisoned twice. Haven't been for 2-3 years so they might have improved Insha'Allah

I didn't actually eat here - I came with a party of 6 people but we saw a cockroach on our table as soon as we all sat down! We promptly decided to leave, the manager followed us out and tried convincing us to come back in, offering a 30% discount on our bill. But frankly I was too disgusted by what i'd seen inside to return to the restaurant. Don't know what the food tastes like but the cleanliness/ hygeine is definitely not up to scratch. 1 star for completely killing my appetite.

Can't get a better location than this. It is part of the magnificent East London Mosque complex. They have a good variety of food at decent prices. I like the atmosphere as this place is always buzzing with muslims after salah times.

Nice concept of having the restaurant at the foot of the ELM. Nice designed seats and polite staff. However, food is definitely not up to scratch, could do much much better.

Good food. Great prices. Good attention to detail from the waiters. Let down by incredibly slow service. The main courses arrived approx 1.5 hours after we arrived. The starters arrived at least 30 minutes after we ordered them. The place wasn't even 20% full at the time. Ridiculously slow service for no apparent reason. Giving this 3 stars because of the unecessary delays. Food and prices would get 5 out of 5.

Good food, polite and friendly staff, family environment, attractive presentation of dishes, which is unusual for this type of restaurant. Prices are very reasonable for the standard of food. Comfortable seating upstairs for families but restricted space for parties of more than 6 people who would need to sit downstairs (which is a little noisy at times). Convenient for prayers as mosque next door. Parking availabe in the evening on road but limited before this time.
