I have eaten here many times, great food. I always ask if it is halal and I'm given verbal assurance only the chicken is. I recently discovered that almost their entire menu has ALCOHOL content, even the halal chicken! I called back again to check with the next person to pick up the phone and they reluctantly said the same. Please be careful, I found too on holiday that whilst the meat may be halal, it does not guarantee zero alcohol content.
Went there with a friend - the honour who was turkish muslim lady assured us that the chicken was halal. I had the sea bass which was average that came with salad - also had a non alcoholic cocktail which real nice. I also tried the sizzling chicken fajita which again was average and came accompanied with a small salad bowl
On the night they were having some ventilation problems in the kitchen so the restaurant started filling up with smoke, they should of closed it down. We were served our starters which were poor quality so I was not looking forward to the main. One hour later we still had not been served our mains so decided to leave. Manager was apologetic and did not charge us for what we had but I was not at all impressed by this restaurant. Despite issues in the kitchen they still kept piling people into the restaurant. Not a very nice atmosphere either, especially upstairs.
