The shawarma is okay, the beef is definitely better than the chicken. I wouldnt get the chicken shawarma again. The meat pies are so-so. They sell tubs of the garlic paste to take home which is nice. They also sell a good white grape vinegar on the grocery side that I use as an excellent substitute to white wine vinegar in cooking.

the chicken shawarma is good, meat pies are good, and the grocery has a decent selection. they even sell their in-house falafel mix if you want to make it at home.

Nothing special. I ordered kabob (ground beef) but I got tikka. I have tasted many lebanese restaurants in middle east and I know how great they are. This one has a poor quality. The hummus wasn't good either, too much taste of taheena. The guy who took the order was very rude and was upset why we asked is everything halal? Yes! It is! With an angry accent!

My friend introduced me to this place and to that I am eternally indebted. Having lived in the Middle East for a good part of my life, I can attest to the quality of this food. My favorite by far is the Kafta sandwich (ground beef). There is a lot of variety, though, and I've also tried the chicken shawarma, beef shawarma, and chicken kabob--all in platter and sandwich form. The chicken shawarma is hit or miss, but the chicken kabob has always been good. They also have a bakery section with sweets and baked goods (breads, spinach pies, etc) as well as a store with Middle Eastern groceries. I asked the guy working there if it was halal and he said it was (the brother I asked is Muslim and I've seen him at Al Farooq).

I have visited it in 2007. All I can say about it is that it was ok.
