Very disappointing experience at this supermarket, especially with the butcher. I ordered 1kg of chicken breast, but noticed that parts were discreetly removed and placed into a separate basket near the cutting area. When I questioned it, I was told it was just “fat” — but it was clearly good meat, not scraps. It’s hard not to suspect that this meat is being diverted for resale elsewhere, possibly to pet food suppliers or similar. On top of that, the staff were unhelpful and reluctant to slice the meat, with noticeable attitude. I’ve decided not to shop there again.
