Just the name is halal. They don\'t have halal certification. This restaurant has been serving for many years (at least). They don\'t serve pork. It is said that previously the owner was Pakistani so that\'s why in the name Pakistan is there. The restaurant owner does not confirm serving halal meat. Due to this and the serving of alcohol they can\'t get halal certified. Besides there is another restaurant next to this restaurant with slightly different name (Ah Long vs Ah Lung). It is not clear which is the original place. The place though is lively and has a distinct curry taste. The restaurant has mostly non-Muslim customers and is visited well by many customers daily. So the restaurant owner does not need to care for providing real halal meat though the name of restaurant containing halal and Pakistani is more due to historical and business registration reasons.
this place no longer exists. there is a halal spot next door, turkish. neighborhood is rough.
