Food Corner Kabob & Rotisserie

It was really nice to find this place through zabihah app. My son loved the food he doesnt like to eat out usually. Rottiserrie was really good. Definitely will go back.

After reading the reviews, decided to check this place out. Pretty good food with friendly owners. The owner did not tell us that we had a choice between rice or nan with dishes. That was disappointing but the food was good with nice portions. They also had a veggie burger option.

We tried the seekh kabab, chicken boti and Gyro wrap (in Naan). The seekh kabab could have been more flavorful, however it was not bad. Service was good and friendly. This place has a halal sign in the window and the owner assured that all meat was halal. I will come back and try other stuff. They serve pizza and burgers too.

I was recently in DC, and after reading the reviews on zabihah.com I made a point to come here. Masha'Allah, I was not disappointed. I ordered the chicken tikka kabobs with naan and two vegetable sides. The chicken was delicious; juicy, cooked perfectly, and full of flavor. The sides (spinach and chickpeas) were also quite good. The naan was a bit dry and lacking flavor, although the portion size was huge. Prices were very reasonable. While the space itself was nothing fancy, it was spacious, with a Hindi movie on in the background and newspapers for customers to read. Although I don't live nearby, I would love to come back again and try more of their menu items.

I've been here several times due to proximity. It's a no-frills Pakistani take-out with plenty of seating, that's near the Howard University campus. I've found their seekh kabobs to have a nice charcoal-broiled taste. However, I've found their sides/veggies to be remarkably poor, with the exception of their chickpeas, which are good. They have low-priced meal deals every day. Overall, they're a decent halal restaurant for the District, but not at the level of the Northern Virginia kabob houses.

Went there after reading all the reviews..... a big disappointment. We tried nanwichroll, chk wings, philly cheese steak burger, chk burger and channa. It seems the food was without any spice/salt..... very bland, cold. Not impressed at all and very disappointed, especially after reading all the other reviews. Portion and pricing not different than any other restaurant.

Spacious and clean restaurant with a selection to satisfy all tastes. We tried the kabob rolls, chicken sandwiches and a couple of pakistani dishes. Owner was very friendly and served us tea and snacks free of charge after finding out that I was visiting from Chicago.

This is a great restaurant offering a wide selection of products from Gyros to pizza to pakistani curry. I must say that the kabob rolls were fresh and amazing. Everything is cooked on an open flame and fresh as it is ordered. The a la carte menu of vegetarian items, though, would be something to stay away from if you have a discerning palette. Otherwise, this establishment has excellent customer service and is located near the SHAW metro stop next to Howard University.

The best food I ever had. I especially loved the lamb. The prices are unbelievable. The service is excellent. It is really spacious and clean. I take my family here just about every week and they love it! I recommend this restaurant if you love middle eastern food

Excellent place. Owner is very nice. Wings are good. Pizza w/ chicken is excellent. Lamb chops are the best I've ever had anywhere in any country. They are that good! It's a bit out of the way but worth it. Only 7 min walk from Metro.

Tasty food at reasonable prices. I went there several times and they're consistent. I love their lamb. The portions are good, and the brother always adds some extra curry chicken to my order (for free!). Highly recommended!

It has a huge menu to choose from that includes both middle-eastern and american dishes. We had the 'pepperoni' pizza and the brother showed us the zabiha beef topping package without us asking. It's neat and clean and spacious, a casual setting. Good prices and friendly management.

I go to Howard and I eat here just about everyday. Great people, GREAT food, and really good prices. There special is 1/4 chicken rotiserie with rice chana and saag, and its 3.99. They are halal and they have a big halal sign in the front, and will glady answer all questions about where they get their meat from. They just started serving pizza too! ITS AN AWESOME PLACE! GOOOO HERE!

This place was great. Good food, generous portions & affable service. Mirchy level is probably adjusted to suit majority clientele (which seemed non desi for the most part from what I saw). Halal neon sign, specially in Arabic, is such a welcome site.

I've been struggling to find a decent Pakistani restaurant within DC. After bad experiences with several other restaurants, this place has provided great relief. The place is very spacious and clean. Everything seems new. The kitchen is visible and looks similarly clean and open. There's a flat panel TV playing some desi satellite channel. The customer service is very nice. I ordered the lamb kabob platter, which was great. For $7.99 it came with a lot of nice rice, a presentable salad, raita, chutney, and sizable portions of the lamb. Naan costs an additional $1. Other entrees range from $5.99 to $8.99. Boneless chicken is $6.99. They also have naan sandwiches, karahi, and desserts. It's located right near Howard University. The owner said he delivers for orders $15 and above. I give this place my highest recommendation.
