Went to this restaurant today. Could not find any Halal sign at the window. Went inside and asked if it was Halal. The guy said it was Halal. They had a wall full of certificates, but none of them mentioned Halal. I asked them which Halal council did they followed and he could not answer it. I asked specifically if he knew what HMC or HFA meant and which council he followed and he had no answered. I finally asked if I could have filafil and he did not have that, instead he offered me hummus. Wasted 20 minutes for this restaurant.
