Ive reviewed many halal restaurants that were good and kept silent about the mot so good ones across the country as I drive a truck. I found this place and parked my truck 2 blocks down in police parking lot oops. Oh well. So I went to get the food the brother who owns the place is extremely hospitable. The food is halal obviously I didnt even bother asking upon seeing his demeanor. I ordered the chicken shawerma and chicken grilled on rice. You know his character because not only is the food good and generous but he uses top quality rice and bread rather than get away with someething cheap. Brother rushed to get me tea or lamb stew as they are complimentey when you order. i got the tea and he served it for me. May Allah swt bless his hands. Support this place it is one of the top 3 in the country that I have visited and the top in quality. And for those muslims raised with a silver spoon lol dont be afraid of the area those poor people are harmless I promise. :D

Excellent food with large portions and extremely reasonable prices. They run it like an extremely casual dining place but the taste of the food is excellent.

Loved their Chicken Diabla. They offer free lamb stew, pitcher of fresh pineapple juice and a banana. Good food but not much of a family eatery.

Restaurant isn't too large but is clean and cozy and the food is excellent. And for the price, the portions are exceptionally generous.

Excellent food, good prices, great owners. I love their food - the chicken and rice dish is delicious! Their sandwiches are sooo good too. They are very welcoming and listen to your requests. We go there at least 2 times a week. They have this red "sauce" with the rice that is very spicy and just makes it taste great. I never knew that Somali food is this good!

Darbo is a small sit down/take out eatery serving delicious Somali and Italian foods. This is the best Somali food I've ever eaten. It's the only Somali restaurant I've ever been to, but still the food is great. I usually get the Chicken Kalankal or one of their sandwiches. Their portions are very generous, I always have leftovers.

Excellent food! Very flavorful and not spicey at all. My favorites are marinated chicken breast and chicken kalankel. Portions are huge. I've only gotten carry out from this place. My husband likes their jabati sandwiches as well. I think you can get one take out mean w/ a canned softdrink for $10.

Very congenial environment. Owned by some very good Muslims. I go there quite frequently with friends. Prices are good, portions are great! They give you guava juice with your meal, I think. There is also a salat rug for you to pray whenever you want. It is a great cozy place, very informal, check it out!
