They provide everything you need, good grocery and good meat. You can get frozen, or you can get fresh if you order in advance. To me, best hallal meat in Tucson. I moved to NJ and no good quality around here - I do miss caravan.

assalamo alaikm, this place has alot of food selection from different countries... they sell halal meat most of the time frozen only. i am very strict about buying only halal stuff. i noticed they sell some non halal meat (some company packed) products that does not say its halal at all, i point that issue to them and they was insissting its halal, that i cannot believe it. my last time visit to them i noticed they placed self made stickers to those products as halal even they are not mentioned by makers as halal at all,(good thing to do is to get the company number from the product and verified from them they will tell u its halal or not and surely they did not put those halal stickers on there products ) so be very careful , they does not seems to be very carefull about ur only halal produts buying desire. my habbit is i always check the expiritation date of any product i buy at any store, i noticed alot of times there they have the frozen items out of date, i told to the owner about the beef paties those said clearly on it (best before august 2010 and i was there on sometimes in september) and he refused to take that out of fridge as an expired item and trying to convince me and said to me its not an expiry date its a manufectring date,( then i replied to him, sir it say loud and clear on its BEST BEFORE AUGUST. but o well, when ever i shop there now i am very very careful about anything i buy. just be careful not every meat product they sell is halal. even they put stickers on them after i bring this issue out with them, in my final words about this store they have huge variety of food and its all your responcebility to pick the right stuff from there, BE CAREFUL WITH EXPIRED ITEMS THERE .. wassalam to all muslim brother and sisters.

The timing for this store are very limited (close at 6 pm) moreover on Fridays they 'probably' close at pm... staff is Ok to deal with. All they have is frozen chicken with skin (and yes they will NOT get the skin off for you) which if needs to be cut____ will be cut with a machine into small cubes! However meat is alright but still that too will be frozen and not fresh everyday!

This is THE hub for halal meat in Tucson. There are smaller markets that have halal meat but theyre hit or miss and dont have as good a selection. The cashiers here could be more cheerful, but they warm up a bit after seeing you come there regularly. Its a bit overpacked with items everywhere you look, which can be a bit overwhelming the first few visits but I guess its part of the Middle Eastern ambiance. Tasty halal ground beef and cut-up (yes, no cutting!) chicken. The only place that offers halal boneless skinless chicken breasts (be prepared to pay). No alcohol here, but they sell red wine vinegar, which Im doubtful as to whether its halal to sell it even though you cant get drunk off it. I alerted the cashier, he didnt seem too concerned about it, so who knows? They should try to offer fresh halal cold cuts, now THAT would be a revolution!
