Gulberg Tandoor & Donair

We went there several times. Food is really good. Nihari is very good, reshme Kabab good and naan are good.

Their dishes are special and delicious. But must say their pizzas are of very bad quality. Orrdered the cheese and veggie pixxa today. Didnt expect to be so bad quality. The cheese was not at all delicious, and could tell that the ingredients were old or expired. something was wrong with the cheese pizza. Very depressed by their poor quality of pizzas. But most of their traditional thalis and non veg curries are extremely delicious. They are an amazing restaurant. But need a little more work on their quality of foods.

Food is very tasty and very cheap but the sitting place is pretty average. Nice place to get some pretty cheap and tasty food. Cannot bring your work colleagues as it is not fine place to sit down.

their food is okay... sort of addicting though. My favourite is the Chicken Burger, it is not fried like most places but grilled, Chicken Dinner Plate and Chicken Donair ( both have the same meat). Butter Chicken is good but sometimes too sweet.

This place is spectacular. From the reviews it seems as though many are confusing this with the other Gulberg. This is quality through and through. Meat is extremely well cooked and spiced and the naan is spectacular and large.

Food ok. Facility ok. I'd go back if I couldn't male it elsewhere. Bonus for being close to masjied.

The food here is good, I would give it a 3 or 4; but the service and prices were excellent so altogether this place deserves a 5. The portions are good and the service is very quick and professional; you definitely get your money's worth.

anyone who wants some fast, cheap and good pakistani food should visit this place as a stopover..the seating arrangements are pretty good and they have a relatively large selection on the menu, prices are very reasonable...butter chicken did not have the right taste but the karhai was good and they have really good naans which are huge...the naan is defnitely a house special and worth trying..

Visited Vancouver for 10-days in March 2009 break with whole family. Tried following Pakistani Resturants in Surrey and Richmond. Gulberg Tandoor & Donair, Diamond Sweets & Restaurant, Sizzling Pizzeria and in Richmond Kebab & Kurry Could not find Al-Madina Halal Pizza & Chicken at the indicated address inspite multiple efforts. Gulberg has excellent Naans. The food is so so. Definitely it far away from being a pure Pakistani restaurant. All of them do not cook the chicken and meats fully. Kebab & Kurry had bleeding chicken so it was obviously not Zabihah. The Sizziling Pizzeria was also far lower quality. For reason desi Pzza shops put too much Garlic in the Pizza. Very annoying. Kids threw it away. Ended up buying from Pizza Hut. It appears all Pakistani Restaurants are trying to appease Muslims from Fiji. Hence the spices and taste are far different than Pakistani taste. Channa Masala from Gulberg Restaurant & Donair (actual name) turned out to be best Pakistani dish available in Vancouver area. For all the rest, we were sorry to have spent money. Will be visiting again next week and lets see, if I something better. Regards

Went here for lunch today...was impressed by how quick i received my take-out order...10 mins. Ordered butter chicken and naan...was good naan, butter chicken was not bad...could of been a bit more spicy.. Had the souvlaki and that too was good...also tried the wings and they were good, but would be nice to have different flavors. Lots of space to sit and staff were friendly. Would visit again.

wow...this place is excellent...the best food in Vancouver...the best price...and best service...zafar khan, the owner has done an amazing job with this place...Gulberg is also the most reliable Halal Restaurant in town...I all advise you to go out and try the food

This restaurant is conviniently located one block Southeast of the Jamia Masjid in Surrey adjacent to a grocery store with a similar name. They served me Nihari which was not-at-all Nihari but nevertheless a tasty curry. Seekh kababs were dry. The quality of Nan is not consistent.
