About Naan N' Curry

San Francisco, CA was the birthplace of Naan -N- Curry. In Renton since February of 2005, the team at Naan -N- Curry was determined to bring the same traditional Pakistani and Indian flavors from the Bay Area. The Puget Sound community has responded to this yearning and helped make Naan -N- Curry one of the most prominent Pakistani and Indian restaurants in Washington. Open Mon-Thu 11:30am-9pm; Fri 11:30am-10pm; Sat 12pm-10pm; Sun 12pm-9pm.

The food was real nice. Malai boti and mango lassi are awesome. Will have to confirm the halal comment made above about machine slaughtering! However I trust the site!

The food here is really tasty, there is no doubt in that. Dum biryani, Nihari, kabobs, fish tandoori are some of their specialities. You cannot match these from anywhere else around the area. However, like others mentioned the staff (including owner) is pathetic and rude. No really they are. Try complaining about their food (if its a legitimate complain) or ask anything regarding service and you will slowly start to notice. Its only a matter of time before any new place opens here that provides food equal or better than theirs and that should pretty much take their pride out of them. Until then no option.

Tried Chicken Karahi which was very ordinary. Serving was small. Naan were Ok. Tab came out around $21, which I thought was outrageous.

Avoid this place at all cost. So over priced and the worst service ever. Below average food but so expensive too.

I was looking for a Pakistani restaurant in the Renton area and this is the only restaurant available. The rest are mostly Middle-Eastern and Somalian. So last week I tried it last week for dinner. I ordered Lamb Karahi and one Garlic Naan (plus Chai). Based on the taste, I didn't like it at all. It was so bland and tasteless. I have been to many Paki restaurants around USA and ordered the same (Karahi Gosht) and this place gets my lowest vote. The price is very expensive too ($15.99) for a small bowl. My total bill comes out to $24 for the karahi, naan and chai (excluding tip). This is the last time I'd go there. It's not worth it. Update: I went there again for lunch since my colleagues wanted to go there. I ordered beef korma and I didn't like the taste too. However my friend ordered lamb biryani and offered me to taste. This time I like the taste, so I guess the next time I go there I'll surely order the lamb biryani.

Was visiting Seattle from Vancouver. Amazing food very good lamb chops, chicken handi and moghuli chiecken. However, the worse service ever, my fiancé was not impressed at all and the damage was quiet high for a restaurant with very low quality service.

I visited this restaurant yesterday but I will not go back, the management and servers were not friendly at all. They even have an attitude and do not even smile. The food is good, but now that I know that they serve alcohol, I will not go back. There are plenty of really good restaurants in the area, that serve delicious halal food.

I admit the food was good and had a nice family atmosphere but i will never go there again especially with my family. The owner is rude and talked to us in a very rude way and was rude with his employees as well. In order to run his place and have returning customers he needs to be a lot nicer especially to his customers.

I have only eaten here once and I must admit, I enjoyed the food. I didn't notice any alcohol, but now that I know they sell alcohol I don't think I will return. The food is good, but definitely not worth going to a place which sells alcohol.

Bad food, bad manager! Haleem had so much oil that it looked like a qorma/karahi... Didn't taste anywhere like a Haleem. The worst part was that the manager was acting like a school principal! Yelling at his employees, like they were school-kids! Very rude even in front of customers! Will never go back to this place as long as the manager is there! Felt sorry for the employees, one of who was about to break down and cry! Worst customer service experience ever!

Worst place for eat. They don't have fresh food even you paying so much for each dish. If you are more than 6 people don't go because they charge you 17% more tax.

We tried this restaurant yesterday. So far the best Pakistani food we have found in Seattle. Nihari, biryani and boneless chicken tikka were quite good. The decore was very nice also. The spice level ranges from 1-4, we had 2.5 and for a Pakistani palate it was fine, if not a bit spicy. Friendly service was also found. We would consider going there again.

I recently visited this restaurant during lunchtime and I must say that I was QUITE impressed. I eat indian food all the time and I was impressed with several things about this restaurant. 1) Freshness of the food. 2) Presentation and 3) "The Decor" of the restuarant. (As soon as you walk in it is CLEAR that it is an establishment that caters to Muslims. (LOL...If you look closly on the wall near the kitchen one will even see the current prayer schedule!)
