This is proper desi food - spicy and tasty! Only downside is that it can get VERY VERY busy, especially in the evenings -- it's not been unknown for us to have to wait for nearly an hour before getting our food -- and that's after having already pre-ordered it on the phone :-( Please note: this is part of a chain, so when it says in the description about "contemporary restaurant with leather seats and old style wood tables" that may be true about some of the other locations (e.g. High Wycombe), the Reading location is somewhat more basic in terms of the decor.

The place is pretty good. It's a little costly but the food is excellent. Place is neat and clean with great service. Worth checking out.

When I was working in Newbury, I was a regular here, food is good, good service. try the chicken donner.
