St. Louis Halal Meat & Grocery

In St Louis aria now there are lots of restaurant, but only one I trust is St. Louis halal meat. If you looking for luxury you may find many around If you looking fresh and tasty Pakistani style food (here you go) one of the best food you will have been eating one day and just say thank you to me that I told you about it. Ya almost forgot the price are very reasonable

Good food good service

Service is good. Staff is nice. Store doesn't much grocery variety. Meat is pricey.

The decor and customer service is very nice, the service is above any other desi restaurant (EXCELLENT). The food was really good, as part of the quality (well maintained,) I went at lunch time and dinner with my family, both times the food was really good.

I was there on March 3rd, I was there to order some briyani and some indian groceries. I got the excellent briyani (chicken), it was really good I definitely recommend to everyone I know that if you want real hyderabad briyani please go to Baba Restaurant, and the grocieries they don't have that much of varieties, but I found what I want. The customer service is exceptional. Check yourself once, you will know it.

Alidost below explained it well. I went there once it was terrible. Chicken charga was okay but not the best, Mid East Market is better. Forget grocery it is filthy with many expired items.

I was there on 02/02/2010, the beared gentleman was not there, but the short and completely shaven gentleman was there. He treated me very well, and the food, particularly the chicken boti was excellent. I had a perception about this gentleman but the reality is different. He is very friendly and he went an extra mile to suggest me about cooking tips. I will go back for that Chicken boti again and again. I recommend everybody to just taste the chicken boti.

I am writing this as a courtesy to those who are not from this town. St. Louis Halal Meat is the same as Baba's Restaurant. On one side is grocery and on the other side is the restaurant. For the restaurant, read my review and experience under Baba's Restaurant. As for the grocery: There are two owners. The actual owner with beard, he is nice and takes care of you. Then there is this co-owner or something, short dude clean shaved. Every time that I went there I had to argue with him to get two pieces of chicken out of him. Then I noticed that I wasn't the only one having this experience repeatedly. Such a hassle and headache is NOT worth it. As long as these guys treat their customers like crap, I do not recommend them at all. [Edited by admin 2/24/09]

Authentic halal meat served in St Louis, MO. No questions about it. I haven't met an owner that goes above and beyond to assist their customers. Very professional and humble people works at this place. Excellent and fresh meat along with great Pakistani & Indian groceries.

Thier bihari and seekh kababs are the best! Chargas are really good too. Great for catering also. Seating is limited, not really great for families. Not the best selection of groceries. Definitly recommend the place for take out and catering.

My favorite thing is eat out. I love to experience different food. I have made several trips to Baba Restuarant, Hot n Sour, Spice12, China in Bombay (new), Sameem and Kabob house. I have experienced that Baba's, Spice12, Hot n Sour and China in Bombay are best resturants in St. Louis Area. Food is always fresh and very good.

I would have to give these bros five stars for Biryani and goat korma. But the bro needs to clean up the grocery section, it has many expired items. He also needs to fix the presentation, the place looks nasty, but the food is fantastic. Do not get his gyro, it tastes like frozen thawed in microwave. But you must try his chargah and biryani.

didnt try the fresh meat/chicken. anly bought the halal chicken stocks. checked few items were expired! not recommended for mideastern.limited variety of food.

My family and I ate her here a few months ago. Their charghah ( I may haved spelled it wrong) :) is very good.

Its a great Pakistani restaurant cum grocery store that also sells confirmed and authenticated Halal meats of all kinds at affordable prices. Their service is very prompt, they have ample of easy and free parking outside, with host of excellent Pakistani dishes, deserts and grocery items available all days including weekends. Their location on the famous Page avenue in St. Louis is also very convenient, right in the middle of St. Louis and easily approachable from Highways 270, 64, 44 or 170. Its an excellent family oriented place and I will highly recommend that all those people who are looking for real and tasty Pakistani cuisine as well as original and genuine Pakistani grocery items, must visit it once with their families and enjoy their good food, affordable grocery items and out-standing service.

It is really a nice restaurant which reminds me of Pakistan. Same Pakistani taste really very good quality food and excellent service.

This place is awesome! The food is great, and the service is exceptional! I love the paintings on the wall as well. A great place to take your family and to cater for parties.

I ate dinner at St. Louis Halal Meat and Grocery with my family on 10/30/07. The food was great, Karahi Gost and Kebab taste will remind you the taste of REAL Karahi Gosht from Karachi, Lahore and Peshawar. The owner is practicing Muslim and the food is authentic Zabiha. My kids and wife loved the food. I would highly recommend to go and try it once and I gurantee you will go there again. The restaurant decor is not too fancy but the food quality and price are very good.

Last Friday we ate at Baba's. Service was exceptional and food was delicious. Everything was wonderfully prepared. Kebabs, Nans, Rice. It was a wonderful experience. The best part of it was that we were able to eat and shop at the same place. I would highly recommend this place to any one looking for good food and Halal meets

i didn't really like the grocery store because it too small and they little or no grocery and the meat is not very good either.
