Been here plenty of times and its right next to the university i went to, the english breakfast is really good and the pastas are even better, somethings are cheap, some are moderate and some are expensive so its a mixture, the service is really good and fast, do reserve a table as your likely to wait around otherwise as its packed with students and locals during the week around lunch time!
Nice baguettes and pastas all for aound £5-6. Proper grease-cafe when you need a little kick to start your day. Perfect if you want huge halal English Breakfast (toast, eggs, beans, mushroom, tomato, chips, sausage, turkey rashers and tea).
excellent Algerian style cafe - large portions at great prices. good for students too. note: as it is a cafe, they do close early - 9pm ish.
⭐️⭐️⭐️ (3/5) I visited Meds Cafe in Mile End Burdett Road with my children as they wanted to have breakfast. We ordered two Big Breakfasts and one Med Special Breakfast. The food was just okay nothing particularly special, though my children enjoyed their meals. They used regular bread and eggs; I expected free-range eggs given the price. For the amount they charge, I think they could use higher-quality ingredients. On the positive side, the service was very good, and the staff were friendly and attentive. Overall, if you’re looking for a quick and convenient breakfast, Meds Cafe is fine, but it’s not the healthiest option and a bit overpriced for what you get.
