I walked in to this restaurant last week to check if they have any lunch specials. The first thing I noticed; they had a halal sign but they also had alcohol bottles behind the counter. Also, it was lunch time but their restaurant was completely empty. I asked the lady if they have any lunch special and she said they have something for $6.99. When I asked what\'s included in this price, instead of giving me a correct reply, she told me to use my common sense. When I asked her if I can have a copy of their menu, she pointed out to the white board and said that\'s where she has everything written and I can take a picture of that white board. The extremely bad customer service I received explains why their restaurant was completely empty at the lunch time when another halal place next door, Asian Wok n Roll, was all crowded. Definitely not going to return and not even going to recommend anyone going to this awful place.

The food is really good, the have a lunch special on weekdays for 7$ 1 main order with nan, rice and pop. I met the owner who showed me the recipt of the halal meat for verification. They even have very reasonable cooked 5 day cooked food deal, they drop it off at ur home. Im for sure going again.

The door and menu both state "Halal", but there is a Buddha Statue at the entrance, and they sell liquor behind the counter. I get the feeling, the halal stamps are just a marketing ploy to lure customers, Allahu-Alim. Hopefully someone can verify the halal status of the meat.
