this restaurant sells halal chicken but they also sell pork. how does this make it halal. also the owners are not muslims and they sell alcohol

Gourmet is an open buffet for a fixed price (very cheap esp weekdays & lunchtimes!) However only the Chicken is halal at Gourmet, rest of the meat is not for us! Even with just the chicken being halal, the food is absolutely wonderful. Service was fantastic, very helpful. Alongside the chicken is prawns & other fish dishes included within the buffet. You can also choose any raw ingredients and get the chef to grill/bbq you a dish all within the same price! Alcohol is served on the premises and mostly westerners at site.
