Flavorful, mildly seasoned kebabs and fluffy naans . The service is courteous and caring. There is a wait of about 20 minutes, probably because they make the food fresh. The menu is limited, but overall, good.
The food here is great! authentic home made style. that being said, there is a wait time. Even if you order ahead of time. Patience will be paid off. Do try their Chargah and their fresh Naan. You will not be disappointed. also, the kitchen is run by family and not hired staff. Which explains the wait time but you will love it.
The items selected were not so great. I think they may have palou better than biryani we ordered. Naans were good, chicken tikka masala was not good at all. Goat chops not as others offer in Houston. Chapli kabab was only good item to my taste. Thanks
Very Good Food. This is our favorite restaurant. typical desi restaurant....so go there only for FOOD. Dont expeect anything else as its pretty simple place. Everythin tastes sooo good, specially the Nihari, Biryani and Chapli Kabab. Update::They just built there own restaurant on Little York. Very Nice and clean with clean restrooms etc. Food is Awesome as always,

Their chapli kabob, pillau, chicken boti, okra all were really good. A friendly family environment.
Alhamdulillah They are open at 17001 west little York. Houston Same phone # And same high quality food We impressed by new location Can not wait to go back!
Does anyone know it's new location?
I agree with the other reviews, the chapli kabob, nihari, goat pulou and Kheer is so, so delicious! However, there is no customer service and the wait is at least 30 min even when you call in a to go order.

The food is just amazing.
Good place for take out. The eating inside their hall is average. The quality of food is generally good.
Good place for take out! Good daal, Chapli kebab, biryani, roti! they give u good quantities just don't expect any professionalism when u eat in! Definitely try the kheer and take some home!
I live in San Antonio, and visiting Khan BBQ is a must every time I visit Houston.
I wouldnt drive out of my way to come here espeically with other desi restaurants with similar offerings. This is a good place for people who live nearby and want a decent desi meal at a decent price without having to drive to Hillcroft. They do have very good Nihari and Chapli Kabobs
Not so good a place, I did not go there after my first visit. Food was not so good, even though pakistani staff cooks it in kitchen. Lazy service, I ordered from home and even after 20 minutes when I reached there, they took 15 more minutes to give me food. They need to know that lunch break is 1 hour.
Horrible food. I went for lunch. I was told to wait 20 minutes for chicken tikka and naan. When the food came, it seemed that they had heated the chicken in the microwave. You can tell the difference between fresh food and heated food. The owner seemed polite, I will give credit to that.
I went there just for chapli kabab...they are really good and the quantity is really good too..
Filthy, roach problem. Had to send food back. NO customer service. NO real knowledge of cooking right. Get what you pay for. Will not be returning.
Excellent food at a very low price. Food is not Afghan as listed but more S. Asian kabab and barbeque. Owner is very nice. Service is sometimes slow, so order ahead by phone if you don't want to wait. The wait is well worth it, though.
Does anyone know where this place is located? I'd like an address so that I may visit it.
Delicious food. Naana are excellent. I'd recommend people eating there.
