Awesome subs, awesome people. I usually stop by here when around ISB. The restaurant portion is nicer now and they serve desi food as well. I can only vouch for the chicken cheesesteak meal which is definitely filling and worth the trip. They make it fresh, so order on your way there or make sure you have 20 min to wait.

👀 it's just ahh whatever kind of food because it's always overlooked or undercooked and super rude!

I bought 8 pieces fried chicken. Very disappointed. It is either over cooked to the point of slightly burnt or it is doubled fried.. Tasted stale and old! I wanted to order fries but the staff said that it comes with the chicken. Really disappointed that the fries was in only one small bag. The 8 pieces chicken was for four people, so the one bag of fries is definitely not enough. I could not wait for another order of fries because it is going to take a long time. Waiting time is always very long. This is fourth time to the place.

Their subs will definitely leave your stomach FULL! It is loaded with chicken/beef, depending on which type of sub you get. Thouugh they do not make it spicy enough in my opinion, overall its a great place to get your subs if you want something to fill you up for $9 (8' sub, fries and can of soda)

It's true the staff takes some getting used to. I couldn't stand them before either, but now I love them. You can't let them sense any weakness, haha. Seriously, this place has extremely high turnover which translates into fresh meat. And now with their points program (free food after $75 worth of purchases), they are attracting even more customers. Since they sell fresh halal meat, you know the meat they use for their prepared foods is fresh, too. Though not buffalo, the best wings by far. Chicken cheesesteak can be dry at times. Fried chicken is usually good. Also, the post-sales customer service is excellent, I've never had a problem returning/exchanging items here, even prepared foods. Sweets come in fresh every Thursday at 7 from Shiney's. And I'm going to come out and say it. At Danish you are sure the meat is 100% hand slaughtered zabihah. Most restaurants get the cheaper Restaurant Depot meat with a halal stamp on it. Try calling Restaurant Depot and verifying without a doubt exactly where and how their meat is slaughtered. I wasted days of my life trying.

I give this place three starts because the food is OK, however I waited for a while for a one sandwich.

Cheese steak is extremely delicious but a little overpriced. On the whole, it is a good place to eat for carry-out and not dine-in. They have a good variety of all desi groceries at reasonable prices.

My husband and I went into Danish foods one time and it was more than enough for me, one of the worst stores I have ever been in. The staff was rude and if you asked them a question they looked at you like you had two heads. A few words come to mind when I drive by this store, Poor Service and bad attitudes.

I agree with those who say that the service has much room for improvement. Make sure that you are very clear with your order, and be ready to wait. Much more of a carry-out place than dine-in. The food is good, although a little over-priced. The sandwiches are all excellent. I thought that the fried chicken was on the bland side, but I would not completely shy from ordering it again.

ups are that it has one of the best steak and cheese subs in town. but there are also the downs: very high wait time (we had to wait soo long even after calling in and ordering ahead of time),very expensive (it ran over 7 dollars for a sub and drink), and like no sitting area...literally like 6 people total can sit in and eat there.

I've eaten here a billion times. Its right next to UMBC and the cheesteak is awesome. Order in advance though, sometimes they take a while to make their food. One of the few halal places that accepts credit cards.
