The food itself was good. But the service needs a lot of work. Th buffet was always empty, and we had to wait for naan constantly. Its in the tourist district, so you would expect better service/food. Very pricey

Excellent food tastes like authentic Indian/Pakistani food. Reasonably priced buffet. Nice and friendly staff.

Amazing food! Took both grandmothers wife and my two girls. They all loved it. We'll be going again. Butter chicken and chicken seekh kabob a must try. Finish with some kulfi. Met the owners. Really nice family. All meat is halal hand slaughtered from Sargent farms. Hopefully they'll franchise in Chicago.

It was around 11:30PM when I went to the restaurant and they were still serving buffet. I tried the butter chicken, rice and Naan.. butter chicken was really tasty and the naan so soft. In addition to butter chicken my wife tried matar paneer and she said she liked it. Overall, it was an excellent experience. The owner was present at the time and we had some casual talks. She told me that people told her to serve alcohol as well and that would bring her more business, but she decided not to serve, because she doesn't want to mix halal with haram. I respect her decision.

Worst food ever, would not recommend anybody to eat here. The food was not fresh and tasted as if it was a week old. Another con was that it was extremely expensive. Got food poising next day !

Why you should go to this restaurant. I am a local resident of Niagara Falls and I know all the good and bad of Niagara Falls. This is my first place of choice when it comes to eating out halal food. They only offer buffet on long weekends and Menu for take out only. I usually like go here on a Friday night as it is not too crowded and I can sit down and order from the menu. This place service authentic Pakistani and Indian food is one of a kind. I love their butter Chicken. I have met the owner many times as they live across the street from our house and have met her at the restaurant many times.

Excellent food with fast service. We stayed at Hilton Hotel which is a 5 minute walk to Passage to India. The weather did not permit to talk thus we called and got food delivered to our hotel. The food was delivered within 30 minutes and the spices levels were perfect. they also gave us paper plates, plastic spoons and and forks. it is truly a blessing to have a halal restaurant like this in Niagara Falls.

Excellent Food and friendly Environment! Best dine-out experience at a tourist place. Buffet food was delicious- fresh & good quality. It was like home-made food. Seekh kabob, Chicken Tikka and Nann were excellent. Very neat and clean interior and servewares. A must if you are by the Falls.

Passage to Indian- Canadian side Food was good. My Fiance and I went there for the Easter Long Weekend, the food was good, especially the butter chicken and beef kabab's. The customer service as very good too. They are very attentive and kept coming back to ask if we needed anything else and to fill our water. I would go back for sure since there aren't many halal choices in Niagara. I personally talked to the management and they are Pakistani and order halal meat.

We went to Passage to India on Jan. 9 2012. It was a group of 7 people. we are very happy to have found this restaurant. buffet was around $15 per person which is a decent price considering it is NIagara Falls. Staff was very friendly when we asked for Rice pudding which was not in the buffet friendly staff brought some out for us.

Awful food and buffed is $15

$15 for a weekday Buffet. Granted they are a ten minute walk from the falls but the food is below average and tasteless. Will definitely not recommend as its a complete rip off.

Need some investigation about their Halal version. I never seen their Pakistani Canadian owner from last two years.

My two year old baby, wife and parents-in-law visited the place for lunch today. They did not have buffet today, so we ordered from the menu. The chicken briyani was just OK, but their lamb kurma, lamb briyani and garlic naan was quite nice. The homemade mango kulfi was yummy too. This place gives good value for money and warm, friendly service. Not all the food was great, but on balance, I think they are a good Halal place for the family.

This place was okay. We got there early so there was a table available. The service was good but the food was not that appealing.

My wife and I have been going to this restaurant for almost 6 years now. In 6 years many cooks have come and gone but the cooks now cook food better than ever before. Their buffet on weekends is great. It includes Butter chicken, Lamb curry, Chicken curry, Chicken Biryani and lots more vegetarian dishes. The service is great too. If you can make it before 8 PM on weekends you should have no problems getting a table.

This was my second visit to this place. First visit was not that bad but this time I was with my parents, wife and kids. There was buffet only. Food was tasteless, no matter what you pick taste was just not there. Most of the dishes were empty and we had to wait like 10/15 minutes to get the chicken tikka as this was the only item which had some taste. Naans were good but you had to wait for them. Dessert was not good at all, just the sweet white water. This place has gone down a lot in last one year. One more thing be careful if you have kids. My son is only 4 years old and he does not eat a lot, we have to force him to eat. My wife was feeding him from her plate and the lady charged us 75% of the one buffets cost. This is ridiculous.

My husband & and I visited this place just a week ago. The linens were completely dirty. There were curry/oil spots all over. My husband wanted to try the buffet out but I was not at all keen on that. He went for the buffet- the only thing that was good was the chicken korma-everything else tasted old. The dessert was gulab jamun and it was cold and just sugary. I ordered seekh kebob-which came on a sizzler and it was awful. It tasted like readymade frozen seekh kebob- hated it! The girl serving us was very sweet though. I will never ever visit this place again! It was just awful awful food!

We went to this restaurant on a Saturday night and it was JAM packed... We waited outside for about 30 minutes to get seated.. it was buffet only if eating in the restaurant, or carry out.. they did have alot of variety but all the items were empty.. they ran out of naan, tandori chicken, briyani and pretty much everything and they were really slow for getting things out.. they would bring out like 3 naans at once rather then a good amount.. they charged 15 dollars per person so for the price i felt the food was pricey and not worth it.. the masala/gravy in the lamb korma was delicious as was the tandori chicken (when they finally got some out to the buffet table) .. id recommend someone go to this place during non peak hours and really enjoy the place.. as our visit to this restaurant was very crowded and as I said before, they ran very low on food quantities.

Sallam, This place is great! It was $13.99 plus tax per person for the buffet. They didn't have tandoori chicken but gave us a dish of butter chicken as a sub. I thought that was pretty nice. Also, they were very child friendly. Brought over a high year for my neice and gave her ice cream for free. That was a bonus for me, many places don't like a loud kid in their for an hour. Overall, Price was great and buffet was good too. If your going to Niagara Falls then you have to try their biryani only $5.99 take-out. -RS

I visited with my family. It was very nice to be there. Management was very friendly. Very clean area. They were out of Tandoori chicken in buffet and they compensated us with extra chicken sekh kabab dish. I prefer to go again there. Food was good as compare to many other restuarants.

My wife and I visited this place and had the lunch buffet. I honestly have nothing "Bad" to say about it but on the other hand i have nothing good to say either. The Food was OK, the Naan wasnt all that good, kinda tasted like pizza dough, but it was fresh and i have had better mango lassis. but like i said, it was OK.

Salaam, Passage to India is small, but clean. The variety is good, the taste is better. We loved the naan. It was served fresh and hot. Fluffy and soft; the best naan I've ever had. Excellent and prompt service made our experience even better.

I had dinner buffet at this resturant with my wife and 2 children. This place was clean and only couple of minutes walk from the falls. Owner is muslim and the halal sign was displayed on the window. Food was pretty good especailly tandoori chicken and Biryani. I would recommend to everyone. We were lucky to find a halal restaurant in Niagara Falls since we couldn't find any other halal restaurant near the falls.

This place was pretty packed on Saturday evening when me and my wife went. It seemed a bit small and unorganized to have a buffet (I almost tripped over the same toddler a few times). However, the service was nice and they were staying on top of stuff. I respect how hard the staff was working. The food itself was alright. The Nan and the Mango Lassi were pretty good. But the Chicken Makni was just alright. The pakoras were a bit too spicy for my taste, but that may or may not be a bad thing. I would recommend this place to check out. As of May 2008, there were only so many halal places to check out in Niagara Falls, ON

good real S.asian food, ok price (I had the buffet only so far), good service overall. Will go back in the future 4 sure.

Owner is committed to customer service. Nice food and decent prices. Nice to have a halal restuarant when your in Niagra Falls.

This place is not good the chiken tki masla is just chicken and vegs mixed in to.

Good Halal Food. Nothing spectacular but than again I only tried the Buffet and everything was very fresh. Highly recommend to dine in if you are in for Pakistani food.

Assalam O Alaikum, We went to this place on 25th of December at dinner time. The owner is Muslim and from Pakistan but they did not have Halal Certificate but they assured that they buy meat from Halal meat shops. They offered Buffet. The food was good especially fresh Nan. The service was also good. It is located on the Stanley Road, so you can see the sign easily and recommend to visit this place.

Halal authenticity is on display. Great food by my standards and it's a buffet so you can choose what you eat. Friendly waiter. Definitely recommended.

salam.. this is one of the places i enjoy going to in niagara falls. great place for family and friends. if anyone goes there try their chill chicken... hmmm .. its the best

Assalam-u-Alaikum: One of the worst food places in the Niagara Falls area. I would not recommend any one going to this restaurant and have eating routine and cold food. My little son and I have a vomiting immediately after eating their Buffy. Dirty place and very expensive. I will rather go to subway. The service was very bad though. I hope you will not waste your money and time. I told him we came from far away just for Hallal food please serves us a good food but the person was ignorant. Wassalam!

Kind of expensive from what I've heard, but supposedly good food, havent tried it yet though.

Excellent, all-you-can-eat buffet at a modest price. The two owners are from India and Pakistan, and there's a Halal sign posted in the window. In addition, we received verbal assurance from the owners that everything was 100% halal. Very friendly service and clean atmosphere. The place was empty when we visited; but it is large enough that you can have some privacy, even on a busier day, although there is no family seating. Overall, a nice option for Muslims living in or passing through Niagara Falls.

if casual dining is what you're looking for, check out this place. although they do not have a menu yet,it is a work in progress. the buffet i excellent and has a good selection of meat and vegetarian dishes. may i suggest the lamb korma. mmmm :9
