The food at The Village is excellent and very good value for money. However the customer toilets are not clean enough unsatisfactory in a restaurant where many people eat with their hands. If the owners invest a few pounds in hot water, soap and paper hand towels this would be a five star place to eat.
the grilled meat, kebabs and starters in this place are fantastic. the curries are average. low price is a bonus, recently increased prices, but that has to be expected with the current increase on food around the world.
Very popular restaurant in the middle of mainly trade/commercial area. They have an open plan kitchen and both a café and restaurant style layout. The owners are constantly trying new dishes and starters. They are consistent in quality and speed (which is very slow). I don't really like their curries, I prefer their spicy grilled salmon, tandoori lamb chops and tandoori chinken & jalapeno pizza. The restaurant has an equal no of south asian and indigenous patrons.
Great food,low prices,fast service,excellent. A+++++++++
