A halal sign is clearly visible on the premises. The manager certified that the Lamb and Chicken is halal. The lamb is sourced from Australia.

As it turns out they do still serve halal, but only for the Gyros, and you have to make sure to specify that this is what you want.
Please be aware that sometime in the past five months they stopped serving Zabihah food. When I asked the owner to tell me what was halal on the menu, she informed me that the fish and salad were. Apparently she has a sense of humor. Anyway, be aware of this if you're hoping to get a gyro or steak.
I have to say this place although not a Muslim establishment there is a lot of Muslim traits to it. Clean and nicely decorated atmosphere caters to everyone not just Muslims. We Muslims need to start catering to everyone and not just Muslims. It would be good deeds for us to get none Muslims to eat Hallal food. They have some Hallal meats just ask owner she is very friendly and honest but they also have good vegetarian stuff that Muslims can eat. They may also have seafood as well I am not sure. They also are not afraid to post Hallal on there menu and store front something most Muslim places do not do so sometimes you are not sure if the meat is really Hallal or not unless you ask since a lot of Muslims do not eat Hallal meat who knows if the restaurant is using Hallal or not. You can see that confusion here @ Zabihah.com from peoples posts.
Convenient to MCA Mosque. One block away. Clean atmosphere and authentic Greek food. Food tastes good and the quality is solid. Best dish is the chicken souvlaki sandwich with fries. This place is much better than the Castle and about the same price. Not every item is Halal, but they have at least 3 Halal options a day. They post a sign with the halal options of the day.
The owner is from Greece. I asked her and she basically tols us that some of the Lamb and Chicken dishes on the menu are Halal. You can check with the owner for the ones that are Halal. The food was not bad. The give two types of breads and two appetizers one of them was Hummus. This is when we bought a plate of the chicken or sheesh Kakab. There is a small dessert after the main course. Each plate was approximately $9.00. Nice atmosphere but food was good.
