Patna Kebab House

I typically dont like to put bad reviews, unless things are really bad. These guy may be ok, but their bihari kabab have take a nose dive. That was the single reason to go there, and they have screwed that up. Those tender juicy pieces of meat have turned into hard pieces of dry meat. Multiple people have said the same thing to me. The patna bihari dream is over! Back to my father in law\'s delicious summer BBQ bihari kababs once a year... Rating is only based on bihari kabab.

Delicious food!

Finally decided to write a review after number of bad experiences. Food is great, but they do cut corners. On a weekday did a take out of Nihari, it had a strong burn smell when we started eating. They decided to serve it to clients even when it was burned. Beside the bad service/attitude their prices have almost doubled in last 5 years....wish there were other places for a decent Nihari

Amazing behari kebabs! The chicken tikka and seekh kabab was good too.

Best nihari and bihari kebabs in town. The curries are above average, never tried their other kebobs but can smell the charcoal from the sizzlers they serve. Service should get better, never felt like leaving a tip. The staff seemed trained for a take-out only place and should be more courteous.

The only thing worthy of being ordered at this place is nihari, which is obviously not the best though. There are small things that they need to improve. For example, if you ask them for a glass of tap water, they would decline and tell you that you will have to buy a mineral water bottle. Cheap tricks to make extra money. Not a good thing to do when almost every other restaurant has no problem giving you a glass of water. Seating and ambience is not good, and it's almost always crowded.

Their curries are very tasty and so are the kabobs. Price is reasonable. Will go again.

After hearing so many people I know recommend this place, finally went all the way from Mississauga to try out this place and was so glad I went! I think this is my new favorite restaurant! I don't know why others complained about the service.. for me the experience was the exact opposite, the person at the counter was very nice and professional and recommended a lot of good stuff. Tried their bihari, gola

Great Kababs

Good food with pathetic customer service. they think people will return for the taste anyways and so they can treat them anyway they want. I decided this time never to go back when i was flatly refused service 15 mins before closing time. The guy at the front even tried to teach me "common sense" that though the closing time is 10:00 ( i checked the website before visiting), he is not taking any more orders around 9:45. What exactly is the meaning of 10:00 then? Secondly when i told him, i am never returning back, his reply was "no problem".. like a "who cares" kind of expression. what a waste of time.

This place is a real king of Kabab in GTA. Bihari. Seekh, Reshmi you name it they will serve it fresh and tasteful. They should have more branches.

Went here with my family on a very busy long weekend evening. The place was absolutely packed and unfortunately they did not take reservations over the phone. The exterior plaza is not very appealing and unfortunately the same applies for the interior. The service was definitely below average. The restaurant is still worthy of 4-stars strictly based on the taste. I don't eat at many desi restaurants but of the ones I have ate at this would be one of the better tasting ones (but once again, I'm basing this opinion on a small sample size). Prices are not cheap, but taste-wise you get what you pay for. P.S. The bihari kabobs were really good.

Food is great. Kababs are actually one of the best. However, service is one of the worst amongst Indian restaurants if not the WORST. The guy at the front desk is obsessively rude and doesnt cater to any request. I wanted to pre-order (in person) and wanted to pay in full before I arrived, and he wouldnt let me. Just the way he talks wants you to leave the place immediately. The attitude is not worth doing business with them.

Asa. I used to live in Scar and loved this place. People were nice and the food was really good, even if it was on the pricey side compared to other places there and you had to wait for eternity to get it. Never-the-less I would sing their praise everywhere. This was 4 years ago. My interaction with them today however prompted me to write this. I just called them and wanted to inquire about catering for a function. The guy just kept on telling me how busy they are and that he cannot talk right now. It would have taken less than 2 minutes but he was soo busy with what I can only assume is iftar prep (since it's 5:30 pm during Ramadan) that he couldn't spare a couple of minutes to answer my questions...? That was ridiculous. Oh but he did ask me about how big the catering job was. Make of that what you will. There are other reviews here that have mentioned their bad attitude as well. And the irony is that places like these become popular because of us (customers). The owners should be ashamed of themselves.

Amazing. Absolutely amazing. The Haleem, Nihair, Chicken biryani, and Bihari kebab are some of the best in Toronto. The Butter Chicken, Karhai, and other kebabs are really good. And really great milky buttery naan.

We have been dining here for many years now and have always enjoyed the food always fresh and yummy!

This place is very unclean. Tables and chairs are filthy. Bathrooms are dirty filthy and without hot water in the middle of winter. Place is full of crying babies, most likely crying after eating the food. Food itself is mediocre, food is laden with spices, overall not a very pleasant experience.

Excellent Food, fresh and tasty. Above all, good customer service. I have been at Patna several times not, they serve the best gola and behari kabab's ever. Even their nehari and chicken karhai are excellent. I think that this is probably the best place to have kabab's in GTA... Highly recommended....

food gave me the run to the washroom, however, their food is so tasty, i don't mind the washroom run...washroom - i recommend u to only use it to wash ur hands, and that's it! they take forever to serve food!

My family and I have been eating here ever since it was just a little take out place. We have seen it grow literally. The food quality has remained excellent throughout all these years. We come here all the time. The food is always fresh, delicious and prices are great. Their Bihari boti and lamb chops are my favorite. Nice fluffy naans. Its a great place for family and friends for lunch or dinner.

I visited Patna Kabab House with my family having driven past but never heard any recommendations. Was surprised to see how cheap it was and thought maybe the servings would be very small. Was pleasantly surprised to see the servings were equal to restaurants that I had paid twice as much for the same meal! Great dining experience, lovely food, particularly liked the Nihari beef, Chicken Karahi and the Bihari Kabab. Highly recomended. Basic but friendly service, toilets could do with a little work

everything at this place is amazing. I find myself going back to the bhihari kebobs everytime. Great naans too. if you like desi BBQ then this is your joint. Forgot to mention the nihari is fantastically spicy without being tooooo spicy for no reason.

Price is decent but very bad customer service, they really need to work on their customer service rather than the food. Definitely avoid this place, it used to be better before the renovation, after the renovation - increased the prices, cut down on portion, not even water is free anymore. The guy who took our order had big time attitude and was unreasonable. Definitely avoid.

Again fooled by the name, I was hoping for some delicious kebabs. Ordered a chicken and a beef kebab roll and it was pretty bad. The kebabs where under cooked, not spicy and had a weird after taste to it.... Any place that can ruin a simple kebab roll sandwich gets 2 thumbs down from me. I'll stick to shahi karahi for good kebabs.

Basically you just get kebabs with nothing else, no salad, no chutni etc..so pretty plain. It does operate like a self serve take out joint, lately they have cleaned up the place and added more tables. Also the owner over charged me for something I didnt buy, the place was busy so I just left it. Food is average, service is average but I give it 2 thumbs up for having a prayer place downstairs and nice washroom facilities !

By far the only place in Toronto that knows how to make REAL kababs. I've tried so many places in Toronto including Shahi Karahi, Mezbaan and Tandoori Pearl but if I want real kababs and biryani, im definitely going to go to Patna Kabab. The Staff and the chef are very nice and friendly as well.. and whats more... its by far the cheapest you will find in Toronto!

price its not matter,but thing is what you are having.i had chicken karahi after aftar time,it was totaly tastless,in one order, 06, piece of with bone chicken,$6.00+tax.

All of the kababs are excellent as are the naans. Great food at a reasonable cost.

like thier bihari kababs and nihari...good food..the quantity has lessen though..mainly a takeout typea place, but definitely recommendable.

Very good Halal resturant in this area, food is really good and delicious specially Nahari is wonderful, behari kababs and nan is most recommended. The service is slow.

A good place to have different varities of kababs. Their nans (bread) are excellent. Service isa little bit slow. It should be improved.

Excellent Food - just like home-made. We usually sit and eat, but the ambience is pretty ordinary. Service is slow, but if you have time, it's worth the delicious food. A meal for four (Biryani, karahi, two kebab dishes, pop) costs around $40 inclusive of everything.

This is a nice place for various types of kababs. It operates more like a take out joint, than a sit-in eatery. Prices are in the affordable range. The owners and servers are Muslims and sport caps and beards. Service can be a problem, as the Kabaabs are made fresh, so a minimum 20 minute wait is likely.
