House Of Halal

I just moved here and was looking for reliable/trustable halal meat that wasn't frozen. Although they have frozen meat, they get fresh meat regularly. I am glad I found this place as it makes living here more better. Keep up the great work guys. fyi, sign up for the notification to know when fresh meat has arrived.

An excellent service to the community!

I find myself returning regularly for specific items I cannot easily obtain anywhere else in the city. It is a small jewel, and I would refer it to anyone.

The House of Halal ,always has what I am looking for the sisters who run the shop are wonderful and are always willing to take time to chat with every one . Mashallah may Allah reward them all for the wonderful service they provide

My daughter and I visited House of Halal and found the staff to be extremely friendly, efficient and knowledgable about their products. The products we purchased were of the highest quality, and we will definitely be returning soon.

excellent meat quality

Although meat is sold here, it is not fresh. Many of the items being sold here are expired, so I recommend checking the expiry date. The meat is very over-priced. I have never seen meat this expensive anywhere in the world, specially for meat that is frozen for days, even weeks.

the available products are not of great variety but the basics can be found. The staff is helpful, friendly and take you in an orientation tour if they recognized you as a first time visitor. They also introduce their names and give you directions to a nearby Lebanese grocery store. May Allah Bless them for their kindness and service to the Muslim community in Halifax.

This is a wonderful, bright, clean establishment. The service I received was wonderful and very helpful. Finally, a full-service Halal Shop! It was a long time coming, but definitely worth the wait! Friendly helpful staff. They get fresh meat in every couple of days and specific things can be ordered on demand. The owners are expanding the place to be more full-service. Nice people.

Very down home wholesome family business feel to this grocery store. Very nice and informative staff and had a very pleasant experience with one of the elder woman on staff. I went into the store not knowing exactly what I would come out with as my visit was to aquire a complimentary addition to a dinner invite. Ended up leaving with some delicious high quality dates that have been spectacular. Lots of interesting items in the store and has all of the main food items for most mid-east cultires cultures. Great grocery store to explore if you want to try something new!
