About House Of Halal
Since 2004, we have been supplying Zabeeha-Halal meats to Halifax, Canada. Our beef, lamb and goat meats are Free Range and locally sourced from Nova Scotia. We also carry a wide variety of Zabeeha-Halal chicken. Our store is a licensed facility for selling meat and serving food. In addition, we carry all leading Zabeeha-Halal brands. Such as Al-Safa, Crescent, Frodoz and Maple Lodge. We carry a wide selection of groceries catering to various ethnic communities in Halifax, such as Arabic, Indian, Pakistani, Iranian and even North African.

I just moved here and was looking for reliable/trustable halal meat that wasn't frozen. Although they have frozen meat, they get fresh meat regularly. I am glad I found this place as it makes living here more better. Keep up the great work guys. fyi, sign up for the notification to know when fresh meat has arrived.

I find myself returning regularly for specific items I cannot easily obtain anywhere else in the city. It is a small jewel, and I would refer it to anyone.

My daughter and I visited House of Halal and found the staff to be extremely friendly, efficient and knowledgable about their products. The products we purchased were of the highest quality, and we will definitely be returning soon.

Although meat is sold here, it is not fresh. Many of the items being sold here are expired, so I recommend checking the expiry date. The meat is very over-priced. I have never seen meat this expensive anywhere in the world, specially for meat that is frozen for days, even weeks.

the available products are not of great variety but the basics can be found. The staff is helpful, friendly and take you in an orientation tour if they recognized you as a first time visitor. They also introduce their names and give you directions to a nearby Lebanese grocery store. May Allah Bless them for their kindness and service to the Muslim community in Halifax.

This is a wonderful, bright, clean establishment. The service I received was wonderful and very helpful. Finally, a full-service Halal Shop! It was a long time coming, but definitely worth the wait! Friendly helpful staff. They get fresh meat in every couple of days and specific things can be ordered on demand. The owners are expanding the place to be more full-service. Nice people.
