Souk Halal Grocers

Very small place with very small inventory and few pieces of frozen meat

I was enthusiastic about visiting the Souk, primarily because I was happy about finding halal meat in downtown Seattle. Sadly, the Souk proved to be disappointing on a few levels. There's one freezer for frozen meats--and it's not FULL of meat. There were a few frozen meats, all of which appeared to be halal. On the other hand, if the Souk disappointed on the meat side of things, it was fantastic in terms of spices and other items (gifts, sundries, etc.). So, by all means give this establishment your patronage--just know what to expect.
