As-Salaamu Alakium, thats weird that there is a verbal assurance from staff...i called at arguable their busiest hour around 1030 on a saturday night and asked do you serve halal meat even though i saw it on zabihah b/c the people i went out to dinner with always double check...and the lady just flat out said 'no we do not' so i dont know if maybe it was a new worker...i called about three restaurants from here and they all gave me the same answer.

I had dinner at Turkuaz after a modeling assignment. I remember having the Amavut Cigeri (calf's liver). Yum!--absolutely delicious! I also had some pirzola (baby lamb). When I joined the bellydancer for fun, the restaurant owner said something sweet "You are so pretty--the baby lamb is lucky to be eaten by you"! It was great!

I enjoyed the food...Conveniently located near my university and delivers too. They have verified it as being halal verbally. They do have a bar/bellydancing/music there if thats a problem for anyone.

The food is amazingly delicious. I would definately have to say the best, or among the best of the Turkish restaurants that I have had the chance to eat it. However it is ridiculously pricey when you consider that you can get the same dish for a fraction of the price in Paterson NJ. Setup is very cool and the location is great. Worth a look if you want some upscale dining but not worth it if you are loooking for reasonable prices.
