Al Marwa Supermarket

I always visit this store if I can while shopping in Missassauga. They have an excellent food selection, and they also have a great arabic music selection as well. Their food, etc. is fairly priced, and they also sell some arabic musical instruments, such as durbakks and ouds. I have also bought tickets to arabic concerts there. I suggest you visit this store.

To the best of my knowledge, the owner is a Muslim. We've been buying meat here on and off, taking for granted, that the meat is halal. Reading the review above, I have second thoughts now of getting meat there. But 'd like to find out from the owner himself.

The owner of this store is non-Muslim, but their meat section used to be run by Zahra halal meat in Toronto. They have now left apparently due to the fact that the owner wanted them to sell something they were not prepared to sell. However, they have a nice bakery section and their vegetables section is fresh. I do not personally buy meat from them any more.
