As mentioned by couple of users, all comments seems clearly fabricated. Typical desi style of advertisement. Nothing special abt this shop at all! Just a normal mithai with absolutely nothing special.

Went there when i was in the area, just to try it out. Sweets are good but nothing special. If you are in the west of Toronto try out Pak Sweets, best sweets and top notch samosas.

awesome place. Very clean unlike other places. This place is awesome because when you see hindu buying Pakistani mathai you know its a great place, because they have no choice as they cant find a single hindu sweets place thats flavors the same.

Amazing Sweets. All our wedding orders get placed at Al-Karam. They even have chicken patties that surprised me!

The sweets at this location are top notch but it comes at a price - on average most items rage from $7 to $9 per pound and the bill ads up fast but the quality is top notch

MjKhan001, they say assumption is the mother of all ----ups! I guess on the same notion, you probably own samosa king and pretty much jealous of the fact that you cannot make better mithai than Al-Karam. In all honesty, you cannot compare the two as SK has a full fledged lunch menu, where AK only concentrates on mithai. In a nutshell, Al-Karam got amazing mithai and a very professional staff!

Lots of these reviews are from family, friends and co-workers promoting the restaurant..and therefore the reviews are fake and all sound same. The restaurant is not spotless as described in other reviews, unprofessional staff, and overall not as good as samosa king in Scarborough.

Al-Karam is truly the best place to get fresh mithai and Pakistani snacks. Their samosas are are really big in size and always fresh tasting. Plus, their vegetable samosas are off the hook - the best I've ever tasted! Everytime I come here, there is always a line up!

Al-Karam makes good Hubshi Halwa and Walnut Halwa. These two are there main sweets. All other sweets are below average. The worst part is there customer service. We were visiting Markham from US. Being Muslim and also Imam for a mosque in USA we decided to get some sweets from Al-Karam instead of from competitor. We had initially planned to buy about 10 lb sweets but ended up buying only 3 lbs because the middle eastern looking lady with scarf was rude. We ended up buying other 7lbs from other sweet shop not far away from Al-Karam. This was the evening of 11th Oct 09.

Owners are muslims and very strict muslims. All the sweets are wonderful. The meat and veggie samosas to die for. Nothing compares to this shop anywhere in North America.

Torontos best kept sweet secret. This place has the BEST tasting quality sweets in NORTH AMERICA! I mean, people come from all over NA to grab a few lbs of sweets from this place. A must place to grab sweets if you are in Toronto or visiting.

Al Karam has good mithai and the quality is consistent. Although they are not the pricest, they are not cheap either. Definitely recommended.
