A halal sign is clearly visible on the premises of this restaurant. All food at this restaurant is certified halal.
Delicious home-style Egyptian food with some general American fare. No frills, but good food. Located between 13th & 14th. Closed Friday from 1-1:30pm.

As many other people mentioned, it's not the place to sit n eat with family. I have tried their grilled chicken which is always good. And they deliver free if you live in the area!
always love the grilled chicken!... staff is very nice n friendly. The ambiance is very poor; its filled with cabbies who are loud and annoying. definitely not a comfortable sit-in place.
They should mark the place( Cabbies only) everyone there acting like deaf, and they are all loud speakers. Cleanliness of the place is poor. i will skip it next time
This place has the best moussaka! So delicious
Good Arab food for decent price. Taxi driver joint, not a family restaurant. Recommended.
I was pretty skeptical about the negative reviews and thought I needed a break from South Asian food, so I decided to give this place a try. Braving the brisk winds was well worth it. Although this place is more known for its chicken, the lamb shank looked too tempting. Not a lot of spices, but still pretty darn tasty. I was also really pleased with the okra. The guy who took my service was pretty polite. I'll definitely consider going back for that grilled chicken (fish looked pretty good, too).
Poor service ! Staff no happy ! But The chicken is good.
This is your typical hole in the wall place. No fancy decor etc. but pretty good food, not too pricey and good sized portions.
This is not a fancy place, but the food is good and the prices are great. We usually get take-out grilled chicken, but also have been pleased with the side dishes when we ate there. It is cafeteria-style service (no waiters), but the counter staff is helpful and friendly.
I was there last Friday night. The decor was C grade and the food was B.
The place is definitely a sit down place - it's not fancy, but there are several tables at the place. There is also a TV which is always on some Arabic channel playing in the background, so it is easy to pass time by yourself. The food is quite good, I think - much healthier than most options - they have a variety of rice, fish, and chicken dishes. The cost can be $6-15 per person, depending on the order. I'd definitely check this place out for some quick, healthy, and tasty food!
Definitely not a sit down place.. Food was mediocre and the establishment is nothing to write home about. Quite disappointing!
I have eaten here a few times. Their best best is the whole grilled chicken with pita and bbq sauce--tender and succulent! Their "super meat and chicken combo" is interesting--I liked the lamb (or was it goat)--quite flavorful
