Very poor service and the old 'gentleman' behind the counter is outright rude. He also told a colleague of mine as we waited to put in the order that his meat was not halal. I don't know if he meant it or he was just being sarcastic. But there's too much drama for me to handle so I won't be going there again.

This place is no longer halal. I\'ve been coming here for years, and years ago the owner confirmed to me that his food is halal. Just 15 minutes ago, after reading numerous reviews questioning whether this place is halal, I asked that same owner whether his food was halal. And the owner confirmed the place is NOT halal. If you don\'t care about halal status, the place offers good value. But for people looking for a halal meal, I would stay away.

I found dead insects on the the beef kaboob. When i told the employees, he said that he is too busy and the owner was not in. I told my family never to buy from there EVER! Very sad t

have been there a few times, food is good, service not so much. very slow service and the canned soda gets tired after a while. they need a soda fountain. Also the Naan selection is kinda sparse, maybe some different flavors of Naan? Or perhaps some bread selections on the menu? just some free advice.

I asked this restaurant real proof to show if it is truly halal and they were unable to provide. All they showed me were 3 stickers and it is not even part of the food packaging. If it is truly halal they are not even mentioning on their menu or on the sign. It is very deceiving. They also provided me burnt chicken many times and I asked the owner to exchange for the proper cooked chicken and the owner refused. An honest man who sells halal food will never do that. That too I was a regular customer for at least 2 to 3 years. When this happened I started investigating if it is truly halal and found no proof. I also contacted the Orange County Health Dept to investigate this matter. So that the Muslim community is aware of what they are truly eating halal or non-halal.

I would say closer to 3.5. The price is extremely reasonable. The food was fine. Definately not there for decor of the place. One step above cafeteria atmosphere. Service ok

I've eaten here for lunch many times and have had food catered from here. It's a good place and the people are generally nice. The employees are never in a big hurry to serve you, so budget your time for that. Otherwise, tasty food.

I only have good things to say about this place. Yeah they can be busy at times and may take a while for your order to arrive, but realize that it's a small place with very few people managing all the affairs. Their food is absolutely delicious and prices are extremely reasonable. Highly recommended.

PRICES are good; FOOD is great; SERVICE is good/great; i've been here many times and always get their chicken or beef kabobs, which are always tender and juicy; overall, 8.5/10

The best Persian restaurant in OC. It actually has flavor unlike other Persian restaurants which are fancy and pricey with average food. Naan and Kabob on the other hand has great and inexpensive food with friendly service. You definitely get your money's worth.

You have dive bars that are all the rage. Well this is a hole in the wall dive restarant with the same rave going on. Food is good, not the greatest service, but the price is in line with both.

Service is not that great, food is great, and price is very good. Go for the food, and not the service, and you'll be happy.

Naan & Kabob is a good bargain, especially for lunch. $5.99 & $6.99 dishes for what others charge more for. The owner (Sami) is Afghani and the food is halal per my knowledge.

Naan and Kabob is a little shack for Persian food. For the price you pay, I think the food is awesome. $5 for lunch includes soup or salad and naan. The waiters are very friendly that makes you go back again.

Persian food of lower quality and the low prices show! I dislike DRY meat, especially when its filet mignon! Chicken thighs should not be substituted for chicken breast. There catered food is strangly better which throws me into a state of discombobulation.
