The food was good, but expensive for lunch considering the amount of food you actually get (especially compared to other middle eastern restaurants in the area). The menu had a wide selection and my companion and I were quite happy with our choices. It was surprisingly dark inside even at midday. Location is quite convenient downtown, seating is a little crowded inside. They do have alcohol for sale.

A very good lunch spot, but not a dinner restaurant. Seating is a bit poor, but its more of a cafe and take out than anything. Disappointing that ONLY the lamb was halal, and nothing else, as Portland boasts a big Muslim population. Staff was really friendly and smiles during transaction, which is hard to get at some Arab/Muslim eateries. The lamb kebab and rice was tasty, however, the serving ratio of meat to rice was small. The hummus and warm bread was quite a treat. Overall, a good experience and will go there again when craving halal lamb kebabs.

Chicken not halal. Only lamb is Halal which was disappointing as we drove long way to reach there.
