This restaurant is good if you're in the area. There are a few better ones close by too.

I appreciate food for what it is and Flame Kabob is decent. Not the best, just good.

Very rude. I had eaten there for years and tolerated there constant poor manners, however enough is enough. I would NOT recommend this establishment to anyone.

I've ate at numerous Afghan places and was pretty disappointed, especially for the price they charge. There's another Afghan restaurant that is cheaper and much better about a mile or 2 from here.

Very Good food, friendly staff and extremely clean! We had the COMBO 8 which comes with kubideh and chicken kabab with bread, rice, salad and a choice of a vegetable side all for under $9! This place was fantastic. The friendly workers made the experience that much better. We will definitely return!

I've found Flame Kabob (Springfield) to be my favorite kabab house in the area. The ambience is that of a clean and well-kept fast food diner and the prices, while a tad high for the full plates, are fine. The food itself is excellent, although the amount of meat in the specials is somewhat lacking. I've never had any problems with the staff, and they seem friendly enough with other customers as well. Flame Kabob is the one restaurant I really do enjoy making part of my weekly schedule.

The food is ok, the serving is good. The prices are not cheap as described here. Their normal platter is around $9 and you pay about that or little more to sit and eat in a proper restuarant. If you go for special, there is not much "kabob" in it. Order anything except Mantu - this should be serve as a side dish only.

They are not so friendly. Especially the young woman is so rude. When I asked about the gyro is halal or not, another guy said me they are not halal, they import it, the woman became mad, she was not willing to say about gyro's halal or not status. Also, the other thing you should be careful is sometimes the food is overcooked, they cook it very quickly and burn it, then they say it is not not overcooked it cannot be cooked well which is not logical. The taste of food is very good better than most place. As long as they change their attitude toward customers and become more polite, the place would be better. Actually, I am a constant visitor of many different Kabob restraunts in the area. Flame Kabob is definitely one of the better ones and is less greasy then many of the others. Their rice is very good and so is their bread. Usually very very good chicken.

i'll write a review for the one in chantilly, it pretty much sucks... i dont know how they got enough business to open a second location and never been to this springfield location. the bread is horrible, gets all crusty and hard, the sides are ok, the chole are good...but this place is depressing and always hiring

Good food, reasonable prices. Very casual place, order at the counter and take your food to a table. The Quabuli is delish!
