A bit over priced but delicious! Although the restaurant has a new changed name, Man Wa Salwa, the decor is still stuck in the past! The food is great but the staff and atmosphere let it down slightly!
Avoid this place, if you can! The place smells like stale tobacco, the decor is very dated and the food being very expensive was disgusting to say the least. I first ate here about 8 years ago and remember the food being very good, going back after such a long time, I did not know what to expect. We complained about a few of the dishes, the owner had them cooked again but not for the better. I could hear a few other diners complaining as well. This place needs to close down or have a revamp.....
This restaurant needs to be pulled out of the 80's. It was so dated that it made me laugh, but I will say the staff where friendly. I don't quite know what to say about this restaurant as many people i know like it but I find the food quite average and over priced for the quality of the food. I think this could be a real good restaurant if a little more thought goes into the execution.
very nice food good service however its quite expensive and i think over priced but food wise quite nice
good food, good starters, and decent curries, steaks are ok, nothing wow. interior needs updating.
Salaams.... have eaten here now a few times food is marshallah.... service is lovely....plenty of space curtained off area for sisters child friendly...
Good food, good svc and great prices. The chicken stir fry dish is a must order.
I was in at University in Leicester for $yrs and Chilli tonight is easily ont of the best places to eat in the city.
gud food. wicked.. ALhamdulilah... 10 out of 10..

Mashallah, you cannot expect more from a Halal restaurant. If you are with your family or a with a lot of sisters you can have a curtained off area. They are able to cater for large numbers too. There were 22 in our gathering and there was plenty of room for more! If you do get an opportunity to visit Leicester then eat at this restaurant. My personal off-the-menu recommendation is Szechwan chicken (Mmmm Mmmm Mmmm!). It's a bit hot but it is amazing! Also Leicester for Muslims is great, approximately 2-300 meters away is the Loughborough Road Bukhari Mosque, and if you go into the Highfields district then you will find more than 16 mosques for your usage, mashallah. Even more intriguing is if you happen to be there during Salat-ul Zuhr, Asr or Maghrib, you will also hear the echo of the Adhaan across the locality. Alhamdulillah.
