Holy Land Café is a unique, family oriented Mediterranean restaurant, preparing healthy ethnic dishes like Hummus, Falafel and Tabouleh salad.
The owners are Muslim and have confirmed its halal status. All food at this restaurant is certified halal.
Score reflects a halal certificate on file.
Food was too much oil. I buy for food without eating it.
Very good and tasty food. Very clean restaurant and friendly staff. Love the food and environment. Good job guys. Thank you Syed
Their shawarma was very delicious. The worker there need learn how to smile.
The restaurant atmosphere is nice. Food is average. The two dishes I really liked were the moussaka and the mango juice. The rest was okay. Prices are decent, while some are overpriced with not much taste.
Average food. Made a quick lunch stop after shopping at the next door grocery store. Their chicken shawarma was nothing special, chicken tasted a day old. Fries were nice and hot though. Would probably not go there again.
I have went here several times, great gyro sandwich !
the food is good, chicken shawarma and mango juice are the best. I go there almost once a week, but the people are hostile
i was visiting lenexa for business purpose and that restaurant i viewed from zabihah . it was an average restaurant but to find halal in that area is a relieve.
Nice chicken & beef shawarma. They told me that they buy their meat from a company which slaughters according to the Islamic principles.
good food. clean place. nice people.
I work for a company which is based in Kansas, so I often visit Kansas City. I went to this restaurant last week and I am sorry to say that it was the worst food I had. The chicken in the shawarma plater was seemed to be two days old. The rice was not the traditional Middle Eastern rice. Only Hummas was ok. I have lived in Detroit so I know what Arabic food is, but sorry to say it was the worst experience. They are pricely too.
The food is authentic and tasty. The service friendly. The Shawarma chicken - although not quite up to Kuwait standards - is still my favorite.
Good concept but based on the price unless eating a sandwich value is not up to par. Kabab Dinner plate needs more meat. Heck charge the price, but show me the meat. Good soup but overly priced. Insha-allah they will flourish.
Mediterranean food.
This has been our go to place for Mediterranean food....and I don't mean our go to for the past week, month or year...for over 15 years! It a very big restaurant with tons of seating. The tables and booths are spaced out well. The service is great. Food comes to you pretty quickly as well. Speaking of food, mmmhmm. Btw this is why I could never be a food blogger. I ate the food before I even thought about taking pictures 😂 We had the baba ganoush, chicken swarma platter and a chicken gyro. They were all delicious.....and yessssss I couldn't leave without getting baklava. Ended up with the regular, pistachio, and walnut. 15 years running and I still can't pick my favorite 😂 Absolutely recommend this place to fix your Mediterranean craving.
