Hatam Restaurant (II)

This place is excellent -- probably the best sit down Persian restaurant in Orange County. It\'s a really nice space, excellent service, the food is exquisite, the prices are reasonable. I\'ve been to quite a few birthdays and a wedding here, among other big events. It\'s just a great place to have a gathering. I\'ve been eating here basically my entire life, for at least 25 years now. When we have family come from out-of-town and we\'re in a catering mood, this is definitely our go-to place. If you haven\'t been, you should definitely check it out.

Good food and very generous portions. However during my last visit, I was disappointed to see several tables with champagne and wine bottles. I am not sure if the patrons brought the Alcohol themselves or Hatam has now a liquor license but it was a put off for me.

I gave them 1 point rating despite the beautiful setting because I suspect the meat is not Halal. I have been going to this place since they opened and started noticing that their nerf stinks! It smells bad and bloody like the not halal meat. I have asked them on several occasions but they just do not provide me with answers. By . Beware:Another tome we order eggplant appetizer and my brother broke a tooth on an industrial stapler that was in the food.! No apology was provided Anaheim branch has better food ( no stinky beef ) better prices.

Only gripe I have is the customer service aside from that the food is great.

Excellent food, very friendly staff, quick service, nice place and very clean.. One of the best parsian resturant I have visited. The staff is honest where I forgot my watch over there and when I came back during the night, it was kept for me.

Hatam II may qualify as the best Persian restaurant in the OC area. Their food is really delicious and ambiance second to none. Service quick and courteous. You've got to check this place out if you're in the South OC area. Their prices are a little bit on the high side.

Really good Irani food, a bit on the pricey side but the servings more than make up for it. Had the chicken Barg and Beef Kubideh, awesome taste. Very good service and nice decor as well.

I haven't been to this restaurant, but they catered a wedding that I recently attended. It was really good food mashAllah!

New location at 25800 Jeronimo Rd, Ste 402. Mission Viejo, CA 92691. I spoke to the original Hatam owner in Anaheim (Hussain) and he said hatam #2 is Halal even though he doesn't own it as it was part of the sale agreement. New place is really nice and service wasn't too bad.

I basically got no service at all, I had to wait around for minutes and then finally decided to approach the serving station to get a refill and then had to get up again to get a to go box. The server was rude and ignored all reasonable requests, extra napkins, extra plate, but oh well I will not go back to this restaurant again, but its sad to find restaurants in our community that have arrogant and rude front lines.

food is decent but i feel like their quality has gone down over the past few years. i think they also give cold bread whenever they see muslims, haha! they know that they have our business i guess and dont try too hard. i wish there were more halal places in south orange county.

My uncle lives a few miles from this place, and whenever I visit Cali, I have to try this place. The food is amazing and the place is good looking to. I dont remember all the stuff they always order, but Im absolutely in love with the food. The rice has dates in it, which is totally unique for us people from detroit, but I must recommend this place to others.

Yummy kababas and chicken, loved it, will be back next time in town!

Great beef soltani, and chicken w/bones BBQ. They have the halal sign behind the cash register. The new owners are a brother and sister. They are very friendly and have confirmed that entire menu is halal. Great service.

Very tastefully prepared. Quality is better than any I have experienced in all of Orange COunty. Clean, friendly, great place to take family.
