Easily the worst tasting Pakistani restaurant food I have ever eaten. I should have been savvy enough to realize that none of the customers being of South Asian descent was an alarm, but I was so hungry, and this place was the closest halal restaurant to my hotel. The service was fine, and as far as the food goes, the naan was good. I ordered a tandoori mix grill and could not believe how little flavor each of the four items had. I would rather become vegetarian than come back here again.
Great food!
These guys were super accommodating and served us even though we arrived around closing time. Seekh kebabs and daal fry was amazing, karhai chicken was cooked in tomato paste or something and tasted okay. Nihari was good too.
Small place but good decent folks. Good customer services which is little missing in most ethnic restaurants. Nehari, Roti, Naan, BBQ, and Boryani were good. Chatny was not much of excitement.
Food was good and tasty.
Went to this place and the service was very good. Food is average (I have had better at other restaurants close by)
The owner has been known to serve and/or allow alcohol on the premises of his restaurants. Careful.
I just arrived from New Jersey and went to give this place a try, it's a really good food I would definitely recommend it for an outsider. You have nothing to lose.
The chicken tikka masala is pretty good. The resturant is cleaner than some other Pakistani ones in the area. Parking can be tight at times, but would recommend.
I always get 2 dishes from here. They have one of the best Chicken Tikka Masala's in the south bay, and I enjoy their chicken Jalferrezi. I would recommend the above 2 dishes. Ambiance here is okay. I have tried other dishes but they were just average.
Salam everybody I went to this place for lunch about a week ago with a couple of friends, I heard it was really good thats why i went. The food was average nothing special, everything was over priced and the portions were small. If your gonna over price you gotta give good portions. The service wasn't to great either I will not go back to this place and wouldn't recommend it to anybody.
I always rate a Pakistani restaurant by it's lamb karhai, and that was awful. I think this restaurant is definitely overrated and will probably never visit it again.
I should have checked all the reviews here first. I ordered goat Biryani , karahi chicken and haleem and none of them were upto the mark! I will try tandoori etc later if i visit again. But anyways this restaurant deserves 5 stars for cleanliness and service. Even the water cups were totally neat and clean!
I came here with a few friends a few weeks ago. The service was ok and the restaurant was nice but it was empty. Our food was delivered to us a little late (which is weird since there were no other customers). We ordered their Niahri and Chicken tikka masala. The Nihari was good and their Chicken tikka masala was average.
good food , I liked boneless tandoori. Parking here sucks in Lunch time, they don't have enough parking spaces.
Maashallah good food, Biryani was delicious and the service was great too. My only disappointed was parking space, its hard to find one, if you wanna go there in Lunch time.
Excellent restaurant. We have enjoyed every dish we have tried there, and the portions and owner is generous. Definitely worth the drive.
The neighborhood is nice with parking out front. The food is pretty good although the atmosphere could be improved. Samosas are excellent! Service is very friendly!
Owner is very caring. Dont be decieved by the looks of the restaurant. Best Pakistani food I ever had in N.America. This is close to LAX. Take I405 south from LAX and exit on Inglewood. Make a lft and Al Noor is almost right there. Definitely try Tala of Ghos, Oven baked Seekh Kebobs and Naan. I have had Pakistani food in various parts of N.America, but by far this is the best desi food I have ever had. The most amazing thing I saw at this restaurant was the fact that 90% of the customer were NOT Desis.........If you are in the neighborhood, don't miss out on this restaurant............A+++++++++++
Who cares about the size of the restaurant if the food is EXCELLENT.
Truely from my heart! Amazing food. If you ever go or pass by LA, you got to eat here! 'NOT' PRICY AT ALL.
I used to go to this place with my Collegue at work and was awesome food. I beleive that the managment has changed and Hasn is not in this resturant anymore. Althouh their veggie disshes are better their Bar-b-que has gone downhill .. I am not sure but food is more Indian then Paki now. I have to find a different place no as it doesnt seems to be as good as before.
The new friendly faces of this establishment, made me leary about the food, But I am happy to say that the food gotten better in the last couple of years. Still the best in town taste wise and price wise. I love the new traditional decorations on the wall and new ambiance. Keep up the good work guys.
This is the best Pakistani Restaurant in California, I have ate here for 6 yrs and have gotten great tasting food everytime. Their Chicken Tikka Masala rocks the South Bay and has customers coming from all of California. Its a very exotic Pakistani Restaurant that has great food and service. Highly recommeded!
Now that I no longer live in L.A., nor even the United States, aside from friends and family, there is nothing I miss more than the divine Aloo Palak from Al-Noor. Mr. Hasan's cooking is a treasure.
This is the best Pakistani restaurant located in southern california. Usually Pakistani food at restaurants is drenched in oil. This place is the opposite, you can taste the flavor of the food, instead of the oil.
I have ben to almost all halal restaurant in California (north and south). This is the only place i recommend for food quality. Excellent food. you eat chicken , beef or mutton every thing is their speciality.
Went by this place after a while. Their Naan is still phenomenal. One of the two brothers who own the place was on vacation, but the food was almost as excellent as it usually is.
The best pakistani restaurant in soutbay. There sikeh kabob and naan is my fav.
Good food, nicely dcor place and much better service.
A few days ago, I ordered takeout for about 15 people from Al-Noor. Tandoori mix which included boneless beef cooked in a clay oven was excellent. My American friends loved the food even though it was spicy and asked me for the address of the restaurant. Biryani rice was a little undercooked but nevertheless it was tasty. Highly recommended.
"I've been enjoying the delicious halal meal and very courteous service of Al-Noor restaurant since 1999. and everytime we go to LAX airport, it is a must for our family to go to this place to enjoy pakistani food (we just can't resist it!). The food is cooked according to your tatse, from spicy to mild. Boneless tandoori chicken and tala gosht is simply the best. And yes, don't forget to try lassi, its yummy!. I asked Mr. Hasan once to take me into his kitchen, and believe me its the cleanest kitchen of the restaurant i've ever seen. Not a single peck of spice or meat could be seen anywhere on the floor or countertops in sight. I even peeked into the tandoor, it was just...so clean. Makes you feel good that you're not only having a delicious meal but a healthy one too. the environment is very neat. The only regret is, they're in LA. I wish they move to orange county so that we can enjoy the lovely food as often as we want."
Run by two brothers, Hasna and Saqlain, this place rocks. Wonderful boneless tandoori. We used to do take out all the time for our company when I was working in the area. Very polite service. They do spicey and less spicy.
I have tried almost all of the Pakistani resturants in Greater-LA area, and Al-Noor seems to have the best tasting food. Good variety of dishes, good prices, and excellent taste.
A nice, small Indo/Pak restaurant. Has a complete menu of halal dishes and specializes as the only completely boneless Tandoori restaurant.
