I can\'t say enough wonderful things about this little hole in the wall restaurant. The staff is very courteous and inviting. Food was absolutely fresh and seasoned just right. I tired their BBQ Chicken, Bihari Kabobs, Vegetable mix and Daal... and everything was wonderful. I would gladly go back again, the only problem is that they are so far from South OC where I live.

Great desi food and superb chicken tikka at very low price, especially with LA standards. A must visit when in the area...

Good place to get tandoori chicken. If you have a craving for some savory food then this is the place. Set up like Baha Fresh. Instead of a salsa bar, it has a chutney bar (which is excellent). The owner is very nice gentlemen. Portions are right for the money

Went to have lunch, owner assured me that the meat was halal. I then asked to use his restroom to make wudu to offer Dhuhr prayer. He granted me permission and showed me a spot in the kitchen where I could pray. After finishing my prayers, while still in the kitchen, I saw a box of non-zabihah chicken under the sink! I ripped off the label from the box and took it with me as proof. I was completely shocked to find out that the guy would straight out lie to my face about his meat being halal. As for the Beef I can't say. I guess you just have to take his word for it. If you care about eating zabihah, I would definitely not recommend eating his chicken.

Place has nice South-Asian food. The seating is very limited as it is more of a take-out place. Place is clean and it is not too expensive, but I feel they should give larger portions for your $$$.

We were in LA last week and were really surprised not to find a good halal Pakistani restaurant in this city. Chutney was also one of the average/below average category restaurants. We were under the impression this is somehow related to san francisco chutney, but it wasn't. Actually it was a small cafe/take-out type restaurant with very average food. We tried Nihari, Dahi chicken & seekh kababs. Naans were very small. Nothing much to recommend here!

I used to go there all the time. I rarely go anymore because the owner always seems to be having a bad day. The food used to be really good, especially the mint chutney. Now the kabob is greasy and the chutney watery. The quality of indian restaurants always seem to decline over time. I dont get it.

Food is good. Don't expect fancy china or friendly staff, but if you like Pakistani food, it's a good place to go.

I am usually pretty lenient with my reviews and try to see the positives in restaurants... But sorry this time, I really can't. This was one of the worst meals I have ever eaten. Good news is the restaurant is clean. However, if you are looking for good desi food.: This isn't the place. Unfortunately, I am skeptical as to whether all the good reviews were added by owners and workers. :-/

It's a halal restaurant, therefore there is alcohol permitted in the facility. I am sorry Irfan, but you must be having a bad day yourself that day, because we have been going to the restaurant for the past ten years annever had a bad experience yet. I love there food and the owners are extremly friendly, specially the wife of the owner. The food still remains its extraordinary quality and the place rocks.

We'd been there b4. Things've changed. The restrooms are unusable. It's hard to eat when ppl are having beer around you. The owner counts 7 napkins per whole Chicken. And objects, if you ask more. The Naans were burnt from the bottom side. The tandoori chicken is no more tender and juicy; It came out dry and bland. My hubby ordered more Naans and specifically requested to not burn or over-do it. The Naans came out burnt and owner became rude, that "this is the way IT IS. Accept it cuz no one forced you to come here" ? We did a 2 hour detour on our trip from Phoenix to San-Jose to visit this restaurant. And the owner was just having a bad day. See our previous review on Mar'04. I can't recommend this place anymore.

Finest Tandoori Chicken (Dahi Chicken) in Southern California! The seekh kababs are also very good. They make good curries but the Tandoori dishes are just exceptional. Very reasonable prices. Only a 5-6 tables inside but it is best for takeout.

This is the best Halal tandouri chicken in the west side. I'm a regular at this place for the past few years and I love their chicken, always tender and fresh. I have taken some to my American and Russian co-workers and they all love it. The quality of the food and nice service is very consistent. Also, the place went thru major renovation lately and added more seating area; the prices are still very competitive. The only little issue is the little parking area outside.

They have the best tandoori chicken roll, though maybe a bit pricey. The owner is always there and is very friendly and professional, a rarity in this area. I recommend them highly.

Great tasting Tandoori chicken, cooked in the tandoor almost like Sajjee style. We were there in LA on visit from Bay Area. Just the memories of that chicken almost makes it enough of reason to drive another 6 hours to get it again. Very reasonable (aka cheap) prices.

Very excellent food. I love the tandoori. It is by far the best south asian food I've had around the southern california area. Well worth the price too. The owner is really friendly and a really cool guy.
