Food is awesome and the ladies who take the food orders are friendly. I have been here several times over the past year and each time it was consistently great. I have yet to have any dishes I did not like (and I am a picky person).

This is really a good place for me to eat. 100% halal, I saw owner of this place praying friday prayer in area masjid. I ate at this place quite a few times. They prepare food fresh in front of you. Taste is good too and service is always excellent. It is not a big place but if you want good food at reasonable price and halal, this is a good place to go. I will recommend anyone.

The food at this place is verified Halal. I tried the beef kebob and it was decent here.

The Food is OK. The service from the slick looking guy behind the counter is bad. He got upset because my family, extended and all, went in with many kids and said that we were taking up too many seats and it wasn't right. Mind you, every single of the 20 people, including the kids, ordered a dish. This is the 3rd world mentality that many Muslims will never give up. I will only go back to this place if I am desperate or can't fight the crowd. I don't believe in poor customer service or attacking "CHILDREN"! The guy with the glasses was nice and tried to fix the problem but the damage was already done. I can survive without eating there again.

This owner cannot be trusted what so ever, he has verbally told us (a friend and I) "What is the point of zabiha meat? it is not good for profit". I stopped eating here with that kind of attitude.

Its a good place to go to if you live in Ventura County. If you dont mind venturing out towards LA, then you will find much better, less expensive, and more authentic middleeastern food.

Food is awesome! Service is amazing! But a little high on price! Falafel and chicken kababs are amazingly delicious!

Well I checked this place too. Food is ok but I found it pretty expensive as compared to the quantity and quality of the food.

This place is the bomb! The owner is just like the "Soup Nazi" from Sienfeld. Its hilarious. The food is the best. I suggest the Lamb Kebob. The service doesn't get any better!

This place has the best Gyros and falafels. Their hummus is excellent and all their dishes are great. I used to work at nearby and often went their for lunch and their are always busy. I took my non-muslim friends their too and they enjoyed it too.

The owner himself told me that the meat used was Zabihah. I have checked out their Chicken Shwarma and Lamb Kebobs and they were excellent.

If you live in ventura county and are looking for a restaurant that serves great food and is halal then Ali Baba's is the place. I must say the food tasted fresh and the spices used were fantanstic. I would recommend this place to anyone, especially Muslims looking for great food that is halal in Ventura County.

This is a great little restaurant. It's sort of hidden in the back of a strip mall, but the food is fantastic and the people there are very friendly. Everything is delicious and freshly prepared. Be sure to save room for dessert and Turkish coffee!

Excellent Chicken Shwarma & Chicken Kabab, even my 3 yr old loves it. The sauce is really hot & the french fries 'Ali Baba Fries' are just great!

I have eaten in a lot places but I guess this is the best halal arab cousine. The place is small but the food is excellent and the service is quick. I recommend this place strongly.

I love this place and it's yummy Middle Eastern food. The chicken shawarma sandwich, hummus, soup of the day, falafel, harisa (dessert), and beef kebab are my favorites. The service is very nice and the place is clean. They take credit cards and you can even order your food by phone beforehand and they'll keep it ready by the time you come (this is especially useful during lunch time on weekdays when the place is usually packed with office-goers).

"My family simply loves this place. I introduced it to my friends and co-workers and they have also joined the Ali Baba Fan Club. Shawarma, falafel, kabobs, hummus, harisa.... you name it, they're all really tasty. The chef has his specials including the soup of the day which are awesome to try (esp when you're sick :) "
