Decent American-Chinese takeout place. Their lunch specials are a pretty good deal. The workers there have everything down to a science, and you\'ll get your food very quickly. The food itself was fine, nothing outstanding but not terrible. The lo mein was a bit bland, as was the fried rice and egg roll that comes with the lunch special. My husband\'s General Tso\'s chicken was much more enjoyable. This place seems to be a Brooklyn halal institution, and even though my experience wasn\'t amazing I would come back again and try different menu items.

Ordered Beef and Broccoli with chicken egg rolls. It was very bad. I took it back to explain that the "beef had a strange consistency and it was unchew and unswallowable, she said oh it's always like that. The egg rolls were soggy and not throughly cooked. I took both back and got shrimp Lo mien. After eating I got an immediate upset stomach. Will never patronize this business again.

Was visiting Brooklyn to take in a basketball game and went for a pre-game meal. I like the close proximity to both a Masjid and the Barclays Center. It looks good from the outside, but the inside is just a take-out dive. Only a few seats at one table and ledge and you have to be quick to order due to the lineups - felt like Seinfeld's Soup Nazi episode. The workers there are in fact Chinese and very nice. Food tastes good. But is pretty much the same type of quality as any other Chinese food restaurant I've been to, nothing out of the ordinary. But the portions are smaller and its ridiculously expensive. 3 dishes with 2 drinks costed $49 USD ! Crazy. No place to wash hands nor any washrooms. The actual area where you sit, stand, order and eat is no bigger than a mini-van. Good experience coming here because of is popularity, but I probably won't come here again.

Ok so I was very iffy about trying this place because of the name lol but I am so glad I did ! The food was amazing ( chicken tso) and the soup was great ! ( hot and sour). They really give you alot of food for the price ! Since we were from out of town we didn't really like the fact that there was so sitting arrangement as it was a inconvenience to us but the locals don't seem to mind it. I would definitely return to this place and would recommend people to it as well

This place is super cheap and amazing! it's not the best atmosphere, don't expect a romantic atmosphere with your significant other. but if u want cheap and good food, defi stop by. this is not a desi chinese place, this is real chinese. This by far the best halal chinese restaurant i've ever been to, and only a few non-zabihah places would compare to this, but the avg entree at those places would be 4x what it is here. We got the happy family, general tso's chicken, chicken fried rice, hot & sour soup, and beef wontons. i wasn't a big fan of the wontons, but my kids and husband liked them, esp with the sweet n sour sauce. the soup was AMAZING! the happy family was also very good, but our fav was the general tso's. the vegetables were all crispy, and the meats very very juicy and tender. we got the large size of everything and our bill was just shy of $40, and we had leftovers that lasted us 3 more meals. so its ALOT of food. the place is constantly busy. they have a small table that seats 3-4, and then they have window seats for about 5-6 people. if the weather was better, i would've preferred to get take out and eat at the park or something since we don't live in the area, but it's defi worth a trip. the owner is a chinese muslim brother named Ahmed Ali, he gave us his card and number and told us that next time we can call ahead and order since we have kids. He even gave me a free pepsi :) we're defi going to be back whenever we're in the area.

We had to make a special trip to try some No Pork Halal Chinese food. The food is very authentic and most of the dishes are tasty. Seating is limited and a challenge, however if you come here during non traditional (off peak) meal times, you might be able to find a spot.

Delicious and as authentic fast Chinese food as it comes. Great service, line moves fast. A good place for ordering out or eating in the car.

Stopped by here for a late lunch. Very good Chinese food. We were able to find some seating inside as other people were leaving as we just walked in. We had the chicken wings (very good), General Tso's chicken (pretty good), Grilled chicken with sesame (good) with fried rice and pineapple pieces for dessert. Very limited searing inside so more of a take-out place. There is also a guy outside selling tourist stuff (shirts, hats, etc.).

This place is a landmark and legendary and was even mentioned by The Fugees in the Grammy-winning album The Score. Food is great and seating limited but hey that's New York. Get it while you can as a combination of yuppies taking over the area and the development around the new arena for the future Brooklyn Nets is gradually pushing Muslims out of the area.

This place is classic. The best pure, authentic Chinese food I've had hands down. The place itself if a hole in the wall, so just order take out or eat in your car. Very big menu and portions are good. If you're tired of asian-fusion (see: tangra masala / nanking / masala wok) and just want basic chinese you can't go wrong here.

Best Halal Chinese food we are going to get in NYC. Mongolian beef is a must. I even have vegetarian friends who frequent just for the cleanliness and deliciousness of the food. One of my faves.

It's impossible to miss that this restaurant is undeniably halal. Their billboard states not just halal, but says "STRICTLY HALAL". Each menu item is preceded by this clarification. I think the 'No Pork' part of their business name maybe to a considerate attempt to pre-empt disappointing mainstream non Muslim diners with a craving some good ol' mooshoo pork :) good food, good prices, good portions; the place was hoppin happenin when I went but I still got my food within 10 mnts, mainly because most folks were regulars who'd phoned in their order. That's my plan for future visits, I have a feeling I'll become a regular. Very easily accessible via subway lines (Atlantic Avenue stop) 2, 3, B, Q, 4 & 5 as well as LIRR.

Assalaamualaikum. This is a great restaurant but you have to wait a while for your food because they make it fresh. There are so many good entrees but I especially like the honey garlic chicken and the sesame chicken. For $4.50 you get more food than you can(or should) eat.

Small restaurant, so get takeout, but the food is really good, authentic Chinese, and priced well. I believe the people who work there are Chinese Muslims.

Traditional Chinese food by Chinese. This is the experience you rarely get. I tried their Schezaun Chicken and Hunan Beef. Excellent and great serving size. The Soup and Egg role was ok too. This is not a full restaurant so the sitting is not that great, but I would say it is the best Chinese restaurant in NY. The other one in US which I can compare with this one is in Houston Texas.

This restaurant is great. The food is deliscious, portions are generous. I have spoken to the owner Mohamed who is frequently on site, I beleieve his son may also work there. I have also been at the restaurant when the halal meat truck was making a delivery.

The No Pork Halal Kitchen DOES serve halal meat in which their halal license/contract is displayed. In addition, the Chinese owner is Muslim and displays photos of the mosques visited in China w/family. Very tasty food - but sometimes they are extremely busy so expect to be waiting sometimes up to twenty minutes!

Very good Chinese food. Always busy, no matter what time of day. Muslims and non-muslims alike come to this restaurant to eat.
