Slim Orlando's Phillysteak & Gyro

good fast food at affordable prices. Kids enjoyed the nuggets and chicken kebab skewers. Limited indoor and out seatings. Bathroom seemed to have been remodeled and was spotless. Not the friendliest ppl but will definitely come back for the food.

Be warned: this place is not Slims anymore. It appears there has been a change of ownership and as a result the old reputation, service and standards have dropped significantly. Food quality was very poor, so was the customer service (smile some, brothers!) and owners seems only profit conscious (skimping on meat for example). Communication skills were minimal, no cups, no knives, bathroom was off limits (why?), etc. We came a long way with our usual expectations and will not return again.

customer service was horrible. Food was disgusting. No bathroom. They didn't even get the order right. Philly steak more like bread with cheese barley any meat in it. Would never go there again.

It\'s nice to go to a halal restaurant and be greeted by people that have great manners and customer service. Slim Orlando has been very reliable on getting great service and tasty food. I would recommend going to them over and over again.

Owners were extremely friendly. Called order on route and the order was ready within 15 minutes. Glad we did, as the seating area was really small. We ordered a number of items, our favorite item was the chicken cheese steak.

This place sounded promising and inviting but I was so disappointed by the service and the food. Only one employee taking orders and cooking meant a long wait and poor food quality. We ordered the cheese burgers (patty was dry and burned). Philly was lacking in the amount of filling and flavor. Really wished it was better. 🙁

i tried their food while visting disney, , they open late , food was good, but they fried wings and fries was tase not good, becaseu they need to change fryer oil weekly, it was like they didnt change for 10 day, it taste, bitter and burned likttle, owe was not rude with me, he was very friendly, may be he was not owner :)

Don't go to this restaurant if you have some dignity. The worst experience ever since. I paid for my food and the guy was rude from the beginning but I said that is okay. I waited for 20 minutes and my order was not ready, and when I went to check for it, the guy didn't even started. He didn't not say sorry at least. He prepared my food and when he gave it to me some pieces of food dropped down and he returned it in my dish with his dirty hands. I asked him to change the piece that was dropped, then he said "you know what, give me your bill" I gave it to him thinking that he might wanted to check the order or to compensate for his mistake, but he said "you have no food today and you need to go out from my restaurant" I was shocked and silent for few seconds not knowing what to do. I was upset and told him about his mistake. He irrespectively said agian "go out, leave my property" I think guys if you have some respect and dignity to yourself, don't go there. This place doesn't worth even one star. To me zero

Philly Steak sandwich was too good...

I am visiting from another country, and read about this place from zabeha.com I visited the place with my wife, and at first it didn't look so good. Only one guy working, and he seemed overwhelmed. We ordered, and the food was great! Highly recommended.

Had a very bad experience here. We called them up around 11:30p after Disney and placed a to go order. First off guy on phone was rude and when asked to repeat order he hung up. We called back and he acted like nothing had happened. Fine, we showed up and he got in our face (a couple and 2 kids) for treating him like a slave... Wait what? I said I am not treating anyone like a slave but I am upset because he hung up on my wife and got rude when we asked him about the menu (given that we are out of towners). He then plainly said that fine I don't have your food and won't serve you. We were shocked and very surprised at this. We just wastes 30 mins driving to this place while tired and now even though our food was ready and bagged, he refused to give it to us. Please stay away from this place. The owner is a rude Arab who doesn't respect people's time and definitely doesn't tolerate tourists inquiry of the menu!

It is almost 4:00 pm, and they told us they were "too busy" and to come back later. We were so hungry that we decided to leave. I am still amazed on how horrible the service was.

Great place for philly cheese steak, gyros, hot dogs...good value, friendly service call on the way out of Disney world and pick up take out for your hotel on vacation went back again APril 2015, the philly steak is great. kabobs not so much. best philly steak in town

The brother working the counter and cooking was very nice however the did took very long and was very bland. Ordered the chicken skewers, crispy Burger, cheeseburger, fries. Only burgers were decent due to being slothered with Mayo. Kababs didn't even have salt and fries were soggy.

I wanted to leave as soon as I stepped in. I decided to give it a chance anyway. I had ordered on the phone half an hour ago and they started to make it when I got there. When I got the gyro, they had messed up the order even though I had said to put no tomatoes, there were still tomatoes! The taste was average.

Not worth going to. So many better alternatives. Food is exceedingly bland. It is obvious that whomever is making the food, takes no pride in their craft. Philly cheesestake could have colored tofu and i would not have been able to tell. Ditto for the chicken nuggets.

This is our go-to place when visiting Orlando if we want wings and cheesesteaks. Not fancy, but tasty and clean!

I had high hopes after reading all the reviews. Sadly, we were thoroughly disappointed. We ordered burgers, gyro, chicken wings and chicken Phillysteak. Before I mention the food quality, I'd like to mention customer service or rather lack of it. We arrived at the establishment around 7:45am, found two people behind he counter. One employee was busy cooking while the other was engaged in a deep conversation with an employee from Papa Jones (the pizzeria next door) and totally ignored us. After 5 minutes he disappeared without saying a word and the poor guy working in the kitchen came to take our order with one eye on the chicken pieces on the grill. Now the food; the gyro was absolutely horrible and tasteless, chicken wings were half cooked and we decided to throw away most of them fearing salmonella poisoning. The chicken Phillysteak and burgers were actually pretty good. A couple of odd things, the ketchup that is served on the table is absolutely horrendous and seems like a watered down tomato paste. The soap dispenser in the men's washroom was found broken, I wonder how the employees wash their hands properly after using the facility?

Family was visiting Orlando and this had the most reviews. I ordered the burger and that was delicious. Wife ordered the kababs and didnt like it. Too bland for her Pakistani tastes :-). A few splashes of chilli sauce later and she was happier. Baklawa was nice too. Kids had the hot dog and demolished it. Excellent service. Reasonable prices.

So my family and I were looking for a place to eat after leaving the theme parks. It was around 11 pm and I was worried everything would be closed. My trusted Zabihah app found this place for me. It is very close the parks and it is open until 2 AM. Unfortunately a very large party of about 15 people came in right before me. The manager said it would take 20-30 min for us to get our food. We tried the philly cheese steak sandwich, cheese burgers and chicken tenders. It did take about 25 minutes. The food was OK. The burger patty was kind of dry. The gyro meat was overcooked. The philly cheese steak lacked cheese and onions/bellpeppers. We decided to try them again the next evening and the philly cheese steak was much improved. Burger was still dry. I would recommend sticking with the cheese steak sandwiches, that seems to be their specialty. If your looking for late night food close to the theme parks, this is the place to go.

Went their after jummah salah, firstly the service could have been better, the person serving didn\'t seem to understand English and didn\'t understand their own menu, wanted a meal deal from their flyer but he couldn\'t understand and kept pointing to the big board at the top, then told us it would take 20 minutes so we went to the supermarket, when we came back he couldn\'t remember us and hadn\'t made the food! They then rushed around trying to get it sorted, the phillysteak was bland and dry and the portion size was mean maybe because they rushed the food.

Went there after the theme park.. Food was very bad.. They cut one burger in half to make two sandwiches and the tomato was very small for the bun.. The bun wasn't fresh and sliced in a bad way.. We also waited for more than one hour. The food was better a few years ago.

Came to orlando all the way from Ohio. The restaurant offers GREAT food & we experienced very friendly staff, especially the owner. We loved the phillysteak sub Tajin, & hareera soup. I Would love to go back in the future to try their couscous.

I have been to this restaurant twice and I can say that I find it to be the best in town for Orlando Visitors. The food is fresh and tasty. The place is clean and looks like they just renovated the palce. The bathroom is clean . I found the staff to be courteous as well. All in all it is a very nice place and not too pricey.

Simply amazing. We happened to arrive late in town for my husband's business trip, and called this place up. Even though it was near closing, we were met with friendly greetings and suggestions from the menu, and the food was fabulous. Wish I had room to try more of their selection. The Gyros were wonderful, and the Phillysteak from heaven . Portions are reasonable, the ingredients taste fresh . Would take a detour on future trips to come back!

The food is alright. They pretty much buy it from restaurant depot and cook it there. They gyros are great and that meat is fresh. The pries are okay. The service is terrible. The people barley understand English and take over 30 min to bring food that should take 5. They just get really overwhelmed and can't handle it.

Best HALAL food in town. Large variety. they even offer halal roasted chicken...good customer service,best cooker,very fast and there food wow tasty,brother Khalid and brother abdullah are very nice.

I read all the reviews and decided to give this place a try. Coming back from Disney, my family decided to head to slim. I was pleasantly surprised. The decor was good and recently renovated, and the place looked clean and well lit. The food here was amazing. We ordered different platters. It was more than enough for our family, and left the place with lots of leftovers. The platters had different meat items served on yellow rice, with sides of Hummus, salad and bread. It was by far the most delicious middle eatern food I had. Would love to go back whenever I come to Orlando.

Amazing food and a must eat in Orlando. I am visiting from California and was referred to this place by the near by mosque. All the sandwiches are amazing from the beef to the lamb and the steak meat they have is so tender and cooked to perfection. Plus there rice and yogurt sauce is something that helps make for an amazing meal.

Visiting Orlando. I was at this place last year, and their food was amazing, I returned this year to enjoy their phillysteak again. I am very disappointed, we ordered PHYLLYSTEAK Sandwich it was unbelievably only ONIONS with very little STEAK which no one in our family of six could taste. My Mom requested me to bring it to the owners attention, he agreed that he could only see the Onions in our sandwich but then shrugged saying that this is how they make them now. I am never going back to eat sweet Onion sandwich for $9 again.

we found this place in zabihah coupons,we went there three times last week,the place was clean and the food was good,but in the last time the indian old cook who doesnt speak english took our orders, missed up all of it and charges us for someone's else food,he was yelling on my father and we didnt understand what he was saying,was scary...

Orlando's gyro is a good place to eat and enjoy Halal food,we went there two times last week ,was very good and tasty.If you Go there ask for Taher he's a nice guy and very welcoming.

I have come to this place for years and it still hasn't changed. The food and the people are so nice!the best part of it all is that they're open late!

we went to this place the first time three days ago and we found an ugly skinny cook,his hands were dirty and looks very angry,he was starring on us and doesnt understand what my husband were saying,then another nice young guy came and took our order...was horrible.

Tried wings, Philly and gyro Philly and gyro were big, both were very flavourful and lost importantly texture of meat was perfect - I recall the cheese steak having loads of cheese which usually halal joints do not add. Wings were decent, a good compliment to other things ordered. Not much place to eat, unless you'd like to sit out on the front patio.

Came here again after a few years since the last time. Not impressed but still good. Love the late hours so we can eat great even late. They have a space for prayer in the hallway which is nice. Will still come when I'm in the area because of good location and long open hours.

Visited this place on a recent trip to Orlando. Conveniently located and close to hotels near WDW theme parks. Ate there one night and was back the next night as well. Great Philly cheesesteak, chicken and gyro sandwiches and buffalo wings. Good value for money

LOVE this food! Wish I could get it at home. I had the falafel meal with fries. It was fresh, delicious and satisfying. The portions are more than adequate.

We didn't think it was necessary to read reviewed because we have been eating here since slims opened, but after returning 6 years later we were very disappointed. The service was disappointing-no greeting, no smiling, taking the wrong order, and when brought to their attention they convinced us to eat the wrong order, and the food was mediocre. The restaurant was very dirty which is unacceptable, flies around the food, trash on the floor, sticky tables, dirty bathroom and no soap. We will never come here again!

Place is dirty. They do not honor their web site prices. We ordered Chicken Shawarma to take out. We paid cash because last time the cashier told us that they only accept only cash. I noticed he has credit terminal and the customer before me was paying with credit card. Well we took the food and came home and opened and it was not Chicken Shawarmq, it was beef shawarma. I called the store and complained that we did not get what (chicken Shawarma) we ordered. The manager did not care and said that is Okay. Heloooooooo it is not okay

Concept of cleanliness seems to have gotten lost here. The place is dirty. Last time we ate there my son developed vomiting and diarrhea. Since then we have been afraid to go back.

Excellent. The Philly cheesesteak was so good you wouldn't even know it's halal. The Mediterranean is authentic w excellent taziki, fantastic chicken shawarma, and salad. Comprable to Dearborn Michigan.

Very close to Disney and Lot of varieties. Quantity of food is huge and quality is good too. Nice fast food option that remains open until 2 am every night because all other halal restaurants close at 1030 pm.

We visited Orlando March this year. This place is fairly close to get to if you are staying close to Disney. They gave us a generous portion of Gyros in our sandwiches. There's was very little salad or condiments added into our sandwiches. I have to say the Gyros was awesome though and prices are very reasonable. Good meal for something quick and on the go.

We ate there when visiting Orlando. Small joint with a few tables to sit down. Food was fairly good tasting but on the bland side. Ask for hot sauce. Good portions. We tried buffalo wings, Philly steak and beef shawarma plate. The biggest plus is that they have lots of variety of dishes so I will be going back again.

Good food, but don't expect good service. The place isn't that clean and doesn't have much space. Chicken and Beef Philly cheese steaks are good. During spring break 2013 they were advertising coupons on zabihah but they must be printed. They won't honor it if its on your phone. Next time I go, I would request the following: Add mayo to make the bread little less dry. Add more meat and cheese.

We visited this place late in the evening. The place was cleaned and well maintained. The cook and the attendant were very cooperative. We ordered chicken nuggets and their special chicken sandwiches. The portions were very generous. The prices are bit high but while you are on vacation, not a bad choice. We would definitely go back to this place in future.

Essalam 3alaykoum, one of the worst place we ve been during our trip in Florida. The place wasnt clean, we didnt finish our Philly Steak wich was cold (like frozen), the Gyro was ok. We went the 2 times (no other places to eat meat à 11pm the chinese next door was closed), first time so so, the second time we ve assited to an argument between the cook and a customer, and i have to say that the customer's demand was legit. If you r starving, arrived late in Orlando...why not, otherwise save your money

The food here is great and a good variety but I seem to come back to their Gyros and Philly's. The service here can vary alot depending on who is working and ranges from something you would get at a warm family gathering to something you would get on a street corner from an uneducated person. If there are a lot of people double check your order.

Food: 4 Star , Customer Service: 2 Star I went to restaurant for the first time with never eating this type of food before. My order was mixed up with another customer's order and then Restaurant Staff was blaming me that why I took something which I never ordered. I was also forced to pay extra for restaurant's mistake. And I being nice guy paid extra but might think twice in going back to same restaurant again. I recommend going to this place but please only accept 2 star customer service which is at times very good and other times NOT good.

I agree with the many other reviews, the place is filthy. My kids use up almost the entire roll of "paper towels" as a table cover before putting their arms on it. Nonetheless, the food is amazing. The hours are good for late nighters :) Tripletta, phillyshawarma, shawarma rice and buffalo wings are great! Same flavors and good portions.

They were so rude, they consistently fight in the back and if you translate what they are saying they are probably talking about you. The short arab lady stay away from her she slanders and talks back at you. Their food has slowly deteriorated and doesn't taste like food. I found a cockroach in there fountain drink dispenser, the tables are sticky and the place cant afford A/c (enough said about this place). Only thing good about this place is its open late.

Salam, this is by far the worst place I've ever been. They make fun of me while I wait for my food. they fight in Arabic all the time. One time they were throwing knives at each other. The lady who works is so rude she makes fun of customers and they all are rude. The place is dirty I thought I was in jahanam. I'M NOT LYING! Plz inshallah fix this it used to be better. The food is delicious. The menu is extensive. We went to Orlando for 5 days and ate here almost everyday. The phillysteak sandwich is humungous! The burgers are big and juicy. The wait time might be long when it is busy because they are understaffed, but they cook the food right in front of you. So you can see no one is wasting time. They are running and preparing your food in a hurry. Unfortunately when they are busy, cleaning tables does get neglected, but we didn't mind wiping down our own table. Their best quality is that they are open until 2 am. Perfect for late night munching!

their gyros are good and their open late u can get some of their chicken kaboobs skewers for about 2.25$ each ..they have really good buffalo boneless wings place needs to be better cleaned though

Pros: friendly staff, authentic Syrian, although cooks are Moroccan, cheap prices (most dishes are one digit and some less than $5), good quantities. Also very close to the Islamic Center. Cons: small place, but still can seat 4-5 families.

Slims used to be amazing and I used to go there weekly back when the Arabic guy with a beard used to be there- the one who has a lil daughter. Now sometimes food is rushed, and not as good or too dry, I don't like the gyro sauce too plain. Service has gotten better now, I catered wings from there last week and service and food was great.

All the food we ordered was great. Prices are responsible. Service is fast. Altogether good experience.

As a another restaurant owner, I know how hard it's to keep up the quality & service top notch. But these guys are doing it for a long time. I am crazy for good Philly stake & get craving in the wee hours of night. I know were to get my fix, and you guessed it it's Mr. slim Keep up the great work I will keep on coming, because at my restaurant I can't get Philly.

Was in Orlando for a week. Eat at Slim a few times. Food was great, no problems. This location is less than 5 minutes from Downtown Disney. Down the road from this location is the masjid, less than 5 minutes drive.

Was not happy with the gyro at all

the gyros here is what they do best and excell at,..thick and hearty and you feel full and well worth the price of sandwhich...i do not feel other menu items are on par with their gyro..one time i was served hamburger on a pita which is odd, and not asked for..but the gyro is there speciality, i recommend whole heartedly.

i am regular at slims orlando ,at least twice a week . i disgree with you guys ,i think the employees their are very freindly ,helpful and very nice ,regarding the oldest guy he s the most freindliest one, he always greed me with a big smile ,very gentile with my kids .the food their is exellent it may take time to get it but that s exepected if you want fresh food . i been going their for almost 4 years , i try ather halal restaurant ,slim s top them all ,best food ,great costumer service ,clean and awesome atmosphere .

I went to Slims with my family 2 years ago and it was excellent. Food was great and as was the service. But recently, I went with a few friends for spring break and was deeply disappointed. The quality of food has gone downhill. I never had any direct experience with the customer service, but while eating we heard a lot of arguing coming from the kitchen...who knew there would be so much drama making philly cheese steaks. So as they were arguing, they messed up on my friends order and took over 40 minutes to bring it out.

i have to agree for the most part with the previous poster..the slightly older looking then others gentlemen with curly like hair has been somewhat blunt and rude to me at times for no apparent reasons, while the majority of the other staff is very pleasant and nice..sometimes this particular staff member "blows me off" and acting as if he's being "bothered" if i ask for a slight modification to my order such as searing the gyro meat longer on grill since i like it crispy style or maybe not putting hot sauce on the wings..everybody else is happy to assist but this one individual one time even said something like "so what!"..when i pointed out to him his rather uncourteious service..and i also quit going because i can't stand inferior. service after coming here for more than 5 years and now i have to put up with somebody who thinks he is doing us a favor even though we are paying them,..the food is alright..it's typical and i liked their late night hours..but not in mood to put up with "&^%$" anymore since my little daughter is a finicky eater when it comes to veggies and hot sauce etc..again, just avoid contact with this one person and everyone else is up to speed when it comes to customer service..too bad i can't go back only because i dont wanna to be hassled again.

I made an account with Zabihah.com specifically to inform others about this restaurant and how displeased I am with how it is ran. I live 5 minutes away from Slims and have been going there since it was opened. It is conveniently located, halal, and the food is appealing. Once upon a time the service was great and food was always good. In the past year not only has the service gone out of the window but the food quality has gone down also. Withen the past two months I have given the restaurant 3 chances and all three times they have disappointed me. The food was not cooked very well, the gentlemen working there have no courtesy what so ever and it takes very long no matter how many people are they. I called to order one day and they did not pick up the first two times, finally the third time the phone was answered but the person who answered was very rude and rushed me off of the phone. I asked for extra white sauce and they took forever to bring it and gave attitude while doing it. I have been a loyal customer since it opened but honestly I would no longer recommend it to anyone, the service is non existant and the food is not very good anymore. I would love to go back here but they have lowered there standards by a large margin and I don't feel like it is worth the money any longer.

there seems to be a marked improvement in the quality of food and your regular customers do notice it..keep it up guys..it really is making a difference..i started to visit this place with less frequency because of deteriotating quality but like i said..things are on the upswing..therefore i will keep coming back for more!

It was our first time at Slim Orlando's Phillysteak & Gyro's. The food quality was great and so was the service. This was the best Phillysteak sandwich we have ever had. We also tried the Gyros and Chicken tenders, which were equally good. I would highly recommend this restaurant for all and will sure to return to this place, the next time I am at Disney World.

I got chance to eat at this place. I didn't see any wow factor in the food but I won't say it was bad. Serving size was good. The meat in the sandwich wasn't as juicy as I expected in Philly sandwich. Sandwich doesn't come with the cheese. They should upgrade it to Philly cheese steak. I would definitely try other menu items.

We (5 people) went to eat twice and we tried chicken and stake sandwiches (cost $8) and pita chicken (cost $5.50). Taste wise all well but one of the time during lunch hour, we had to wait 25 minutes. There were about 8-10 people having lunch.

This place has excellent subs. Everything is fresh and delicious. Everything is clean. We stop by whenever we can.

Excellent Philly Steak sandwiches, very tasty. Along with that I found the buffalo wings great and my mom and sister found the chicken and rice to be very good. On top of the great food was the kind service that we recieved. Overall it was great and I would easily recomend this place to any one that I know.

date :jully 28-2010 vacation :one week. This is a great place to eat halal food in orlando. They offer a wide range of dish.their best dish is philly steak and chicken kabab,my kids love their boneless chicken, i will visit again .

I came here looking at all these reviews thinking its great place but i don't like at all and all reviews are peple they review one time i don't think these review are all real i don't like and i don't come back food was terrible

You can smell it from out side . especially if you go at late night..they cook at front of you,everything is fresh . phillysteak and chicken rice are most popular. when you ask brother at front if the meat is halal,he will show you the halal boxes at front of you.i recommande this restaurant to every one visiting orlando

visit this place 6 times durant 5 days, slim is a fast food restaurant. close to disney,open late,simple style. People working there are sweet. u can enjoy epcot's fire works at 9h00 and go to slim ,they open late. I liked their phillysteak and shawarma rice ,also phillychicken. I would definately recommend every one to go their.

sorry , but i don't know where all these good reviews come from... my husband and 3 teens went there and ordered a whole bunch of diffrent stuff and not one of us liked what we ordered ! waste of my money that's for sure! the burgers were dry! the soda tasted like bitter water the wings were undercooked do i go on even more? i'm sorry but i def will not be coming again when i visit orlando

assalam aleikum this place is great. There is nothing you can really complain about when it comes to the food. The owner was nice,we ask him if we can check if the food was halal,he brings 4 boxes from the fridge with halal sign on'm. menu has a lot of items, from wings, to phillysteaks, to gyros, to salads,to burgers,hot dog,sea food,fried chicken. The cheese steak was very good. The wings were tasty i definitely recommend this restaurant,and for sure insha allah i will be back

special mixed kabab was awesome.with humus pita and rice,my wife had phillysteak with fries,was very good,she love it. my daugter had cheese burger .i recommend this place to everyone visiting disney or universal

..i find this place to be a gamble..some days the food is very very good..other days the identical item is subpar..what irks me the most is "deletions" from a sandwhich or a rice dish and no mention is made about it prior to taking your order and you find the hard truth when you get home..for instance, love sharwama rice..the picture shows banana peppers, black olives, other veggies..get home..pop open the box..NO BANANA PEPPERS..NO OLIVES..which seriously alters the taste in my opinion...same thing for the philly steaks..some days there's lettuce mayo, tomatoes..other days not accounted for..one thing i cannot stand..is non-chalant attitude by the restuarant crew as i was informed i was making a "big deal" out of it..it is my money i am parting with...is it too much to ask for what is advertised on the menu boards?.by the way..place is okay for take out or quick casual bite to eat..but more likely then not rather dirty for a family outing.

I have to agree with the above posts. this place is extremely good. large menu with mixt american (phillysteak burgers hot dog salads )middle east like shawarmas ,and greek such us gyros greek salads baklava i tried phillysteak first day ,gyro and greek salad on second day,shawarma rice with pita on my last day. i can say :everything was awesome. it's really good place to enjoy the food

I went here during my holiday to Disney World. It's not far for the parks and very convenience after long day. The food was really good and have large portion. One of the best Buffalo Wings in my opinion. I even brought some to Disney parks for lunch. However, the service is quite slow, it can be improve.

The food was good service was good...We ordered some boneless wings, a plate of rice with chicken shawarma and a shawarma sandwich on its own. I wouldn't say that its the best american/arabic food that I had, however it was good to find something halal as I was eating vegetarian stuff for last 3 days before this...I would give it 4/5.

My family ate here a few times during a recent trip to Orlando. All items on the menu are prepared to order and everything we tried was delicious. The prices were also very reasonable. The only minor issue we faced was that the dining area was small and not as clean as we expected.

We were in Orlando with family for 10 days. Prior going to Orlando, i did search for halal restaurant near by on this site. I mrked this restaurant for our visit. Guess what, we went there not only once but three times as the foods were very good and not so expensive. Being a Pakistani, i can suggest to desi eaters that go to this restaurant, you will enjoy the food. The brother serving us was very humble even on last day when i told him we are for the last time, he offered us some complementary sweets.

on zabihah.com i saw slim orlando but when i got there i found phillysteak sign wich is same.nice greeting,the place was packed,very busy place masha lah,the food was excellent. Portions are plentiful, and the meat is very flavorful. Tried a chicken shawarma rice with pita,plate with humus n pita,and also tried the chicken shawarma sandwich. Both were fresh, flavorful, and tasted great. We were staying at staybrige hotel wich is close to downtown disney, . Highly recommend this place

This place is simply AMAZING!. I was here for 3 days in Orlando with my wife and stayed on universal Blvd which is very close Disney, Universal, Sea world etc. I walked in and was welcomed with a loud Salam Alikum, This place has EXCELLENT food, outstanding customer service, quick service. All three days we stayed here we tried their food. I would highly recommend this place seasoned fries, Philly Shawarma, Greek Wrap everything is good.

Best medeteraniene and greek restaurant in orlando right next to the Muslim Center of orlando . Great meat, great authentic medeteraniene and greek food. The owner is a great brother, The chicken kabob is the best I have ever had, so refreshing and only $5. We've had the fish dish mixt which is very good, the shawarma rice also good, and the mixed one chicken and lamb, The white sauce which comes with the food is good. The quality is comparable to some of the best midle east restaurants which I have had in chicago. Feel right at home at this restaurant as the owner has good manners and the service is excellent. Clean and reasonable prices.....

Date visited: March & Nov 2009 --Location/timings: Excellent. About a mile from Downtown Disney so very convenient for tourists like us. Open till 1-2 AM --Parking: it's in a strip mall so no problems there. --Experience: Very pleasant staff. We ordered a Gyro, double cheese burger, chicken fillet burger and boneless chicken wings. All the food was good both times. However, they forgot to not-put onions in the gyro as ordered. The boneless wings were simply AWESOME... fingerlicking good. Helping size was generous. The eating area is clean and there are cafe-style tables outside. Prices were very good given that this is a major tourist destination.. all the food listed above (in combos with fries) cost us about $32. They have a wide variety of combos to choose from. I didn't see a dedicated area for Salaat, but to be honest, I didn't inquire about it. OVERALL: Excellent place for grabbing some cheap yet good quality food, especially if it's later hours.

I found Slim's here on Zabihah, and went there today. It was excellent! Just what I was looking for, a place where I can go to get a sandwich. Very friendly staff and most important the food is great! Also the prices are right where they should be and they give you plenty, the sandwich is big and ther is plenty of meat.

Excellent food,the chicken and rice dish here is the best. the prices are very low and the service is friendly...the chicken shwarmas are a must-have! The lamb is excellent as well. The owner is very friendly and always remembers our name. . All of our guests have loved the food here and often mention wanting to go there again when next in the area. We often get the shwarmas rice with pita to take home.

ORDER- Philly cheese steak, fries. Results- The largest sandwich I believe I have ever seen, and eaten EVER. they don't skimp on any meat, or details. Cooked perfectly. Eat the fries while they are hot. ORDER- Turkey sub. Results- Huge, cold turkey club...bravo. ORDER- Fried Chicken. Results- Overcooked and ultra dry. They have the right idea, but need to work on it. Hole in the wall, and a bit dirty. If you can stand the weather, eat outside. It's small so a large group won't easily hold. Get take out...Phillys take at least 15-20 minutes to cook. So have patience, or order ahead. . Service- Nice and friendly and will explain the menu to you should you have questions. Additional Comments- Be warned, it is very addictive. And the portions are very large. Enjoy!

Their special gyro is COOL. Although they don't have the spice of 53rd street but their meat is tender and has all the right ingeridents in it. Their philly sandwiches are second only to phillysteak on Semoran. The staff is friendly although one brother is very particular about giving you only one paper plate for food.

we ate here 3 times during our trip to Orlando. the menu has just about everything you can imagine on it, but their specialties were the best, i.e., philly steak and phillyshawarma. off-peak time service was good and waits were short, but they are understaffed for peak times like sat. night. tried to call in our order but no one picked up the phone. overall, excellent halal fast food and friendly brothers working there.

The portions were very generous and the food was good. Unlike some of the other reviewers, we didn't have any issues of waiting too long for our food. We had a chicken wrap, gyros and a philly cheesesteak which was really big--and tasty. Bonus was that it was very close to all the amusement parks.

We just ate here today and while our experience was not horrible, it was not as good as most other people. the people seem polite. service was rather slow and they forgot parts of our order. gyros was good. phillysteak was decent, but kind of dry. buffalo wings were average. the hot dog was 2 beef franks in french bread with mayo and lettuce (anything but a hot dog). The Falafel were uncooked and tasted like clay. The guy told me they had no tahini sauce or any other type of sauce to dampen down the bad taste. I am from outside of orlando so my standards might be a little higher. Hopefully my experience was an isolated incident.

We went to this place almost every day when we visited the parks in October. All their fast food that we tried was unfailingly excellent. I must have had their burger 3 or 4 times, its the biz for burgers ! My only criticism would be some of the tables were a little on the big size , but thats really scraping the barrel and in no way related to the tastiness of the food. I wish we had such a great one where we live in the UK.

The food overall was high quality. The service was a LITTLE slow, but the guy was nice and gave us free drinks because we had a large order. Buffalo wings were VERY good, as was everything else. Overall I'd say they're a 4.5 They're also very busy.

My husband and me went to Orlando for a business trip, and after we discovered this place, we went back there almost EVERY DAY! The gyro is awesome, as is the philly shawarma...I did not like the hotdog so much, but the rest (even the fries) are really worth the drive...

I eat here a good amount, the best stuff is the buffalo wings and philly steak subs. There wings use to be huge, but now there pretty small. Besides that the place is awesome.

If you are in the Disney World area, this is the best place to eat halal food. Philly cheese steak, gyros and buffalo wings are excellent and the prices are very reasonable. Restaurant staff is very courteous as well.

GREAT FOOD ! we went to orlando and tried this halal joint. philly cheese steak and buffalo wings are off the hook. my daughter loved the chicken nuggets and fries so its great for the whole the family. plus the masjid is like 2 minutes away. and also close to lake buena vista. do go !

I came here for lunch on 26th of June and since then has been back here for another two days in a row. The place is small but carries a variety of food stuff ranging from typical American food (e.g. buffalo wings, cheese burger) to middle eastern food (e.g. humus, pita, etc). The food is tasty and suitable for a quick lunch bite. Try their Rice Shawarna, or Sharwarna sandwiches. The Philly Steak sandwich is also fine. For a halal establishment, I think this is a success of providing good quality american food.

We've been there a few times. The place is always clean and they are very friendly. They cook everything in front of you and they clearly are very careful about hygiene. The food tastes excellent, especially the philly cheese steak. We can't wait to go back!

This is a ten minute drive from Magic Kingdom. The service was great. The food was OK. I am being generous and giving them a two star. If you like gyros and philly cheese steak, try the one on 53rd and 6th in NY. After eating that, this is not worth the time or drive. For all those who gave this place a five star, try the food on 53rd and 6th.

Slims is awesome. Nothing better than sneaking a halal philly cheese steak into a movie theater. LOL.

Excellent food. Clean and friendly. We ate there 3 times. Gyro's and rice dishes are very good! Twice took cold sandwiches for the next day lunch, once when went to Epcot and once for flight back to Calif since airlines didn't serve any food (5.5 hr flight).

We ate there twice as well during our stay in Orlando, and we really loved the phillysteak. Very nice, clean cafeteria style and one of the partners, Yunus is very friendly too. We drove behind him to the masjid after the meal there for Jumaat. Would recommend to everyone.
