One star. Ordering chicken story. Here is why. My family went there to order 4 whole chickens and to be cut up correctly. Obviously a big dinner plan at home with friends and family. We come back home and each packet is missing some part of the chicken. One packet is missing 2 legs. One packet is missing a breast piece. One packet is missing thigh pieces. 2 packets was missing wings...all four. What part of "whole chicken" is not clear? We went back and to store the next day to address the issue. In return we hear in response the "weight was charged accordingly"...correct but why are there no missing bones? Why do we have 6 neck pieces? The bones filled half the package. Whole chicken means give me the whole chicken! They were unwilling to correct their mistake and they gave the excuse then people don't like "the big chickens" and don't like large weight so the take out pieces. They obviously sell those as separate packs to mark up the value and sell "legs only" or "thighs only". I can't believe they asked us to bring back all the meat packets as if we didn't have to work with what we have and cook dinner for our party Whole chicken means whole chicken. Friends - just check your meat ;)

This store has a great selection of items, the meat is cut to order in the back. The prices for their meat is High, but for some special cuts its one of the only places to go. witnessed employees drop meat on the floor and just pick it up and keep going like nothing happened. The meat cuting area could use a good cleaning aswell. When it looks a little on the rough side I just come back earlier the next day and dont worry about it too much, but if youre squeemish you might think twice.

I stumbled on Apna when going to another halal market that had closed earlier than advertised and it was a blessing. Apna has the wide selection and the store is clean. Seems to be a nice family place. I bought some frozen boxed foods and they tasted excellent. The cut meats are good quality and I'd say the 4rd or 4th best I have tasted in Florida.
